How has NI ".....been used and abused by ...Ireland ............" @yeaitsmeagain ?

JustAnonymous · 26/10/2024 18:59

£400-600k depending on garden etc

Ooo where in West Yorkshire?! I've been looking there and certainly seems way steeper for houses like this.

Well depends.. l live in Wakefield, we have nicer areas and not so nice.
In Batley for Example would be much cheaper.
I have a four bed Bungalow with 3 en suits.
( rather like Jane McDonald's ( shows it on Goggle box).
I paid £450,000 for it a good few years back.
If l were to sell I'd get just short of a million.
If it was in Batley.. I'd have paid half that.

No idea but it’s horrible

Subjective.

OatFlatWhiteForMePlease · 26/10/2024 19:00

750 to 1.5 near me.

Nightshiftlightweight · 26/10/2024 19:00

Is very similar to one at the end of my road for sale now, on at 695k.

Sassybooklover · 26/10/2024 19:01

Minimum of £1.5mil, possibly more depending on the area.

OpheliaThrupps · 26/10/2024 19:01

Scruffy bit of inner London - nil return, nothing remotely like that exists here!

FluffyDiplodocus · 26/10/2024 19:01

£600k around here I think (Yorkshire)

EvangelicalAboutButteredToast · 26/10/2024 19:02

About 900k - 1mil

Ozanj · 26/10/2024 19:02

Depends on the area. I live in the best area of town. A house that big and large would be easily over 1.2m in my area. But just 5mins away the new builds are bigger but the built in council estate devalues them - so you’d be looking at 400k. So I guess it was sold for just 360k for very, very good reasons.

Ponoka7 · 26/10/2024 19:02

There's one £575'000, but with less land and one £675'000 with a better lay out/more modern, but with less land out back.

Moier · 26/10/2024 18:53

@£300,000 to £350,000
West Yorkshire.

no? Really?? FMD

£1.5-£2 m (SE)

I NEED to move!!

PassCaring · 26/10/2024 19:02

Larne does not equal the whole of NI house prices. Around Hillsborough or South Belfast much more. Fermanagh same or lower.

HaveYouSeenRain · 26/10/2024 19:03

About 1M in a nicer neighbourhood, 800k in the not so nice ones.

ThereItIs1 · 26/10/2024 19:04

About £550-650k - in ‘the golden triangle’, Scotland!

BookishType · 26/10/2024 19:04

Similar property opposite us (but 4 beds) is currently on the market for 1.3 million.

MidnightPatrol · 26/10/2024 19:04

Houses like this don’t really exist in the part of London I live in.

You’re probably looking at £3m for 3,000sq ft however. You’d pay a huge premium for a detached house on a plot of land like this thought. £4m+ probably if as big as it looks.

Bignanna · 26/10/2024 19:05

About £450k-500k oop north

Fair enough. I'm in Bristol. There are streets where that house would easily be a million or even two and then a few minutes away streets where it would be half that. Location location location!

Barezvizar · 26/10/2024 19:05

£750k ish

Natsku · 26/10/2024 19:05

Probably between 100,000 and 200,000 euros.
Just checked what's for sale in my town, and sorted by most expensive, which is an entire block of flats for 375,000e

OpheliaThrupps · 26/10/2024 19:05

Thunderpants88 · 26/10/2024 18:57

Why?

Pay no attention, every house on earth has someone (probably quite a lot of someones) who think it's horrible.

WhatASadLittleLifeJayne · 26/10/2024 19:06

About a mill but it’s pretty soulless/new build ish so probably go for £900k ish

Republic of.

Admittedly nowhere near as major as what England has done to it, but still.
