I wish I could move my house to one of the really lucrative areas. I’d make a couple of million overnight judging by the prices on here.

Prices are insane in the South. I grew up in a perfectly ordinary 4 bed terrace in NW London. Last time I looked, it was on sale for £1.5 million and it was one of the lower prices in the street.

Around 800 to 900k in the village I live in but it is a conservation area and there's a lot of listed properties. Neighbouring villages more like 700 to 750k . Having said that there is a similar property on for offers over 1 million

in Stalybridge which is priced quite high for some reason. I’m from Penrith in Cumbria originally and it’s no cheaper here than there.

About 1.5mil in Bristol, up to maybe 2.5mil or more in the more especially fancy areas. You couldn’t buy our 1930s 3 bed end of terrace for 340k where I am in south Bristol, one up the road just sold for 420k. House prices here are wild.

About £700-800k, which has really shocked me because I thought it would about £500k before I checked on Rightmove.

The house prices in my previously very reasonable area have really shot up since the pandemic, when everyone wanted to relocate to the countryside. 😩

£550k round here but nothing is selling and hasn't been for months now. I think people are worried about the change of government and don't trust Reeves

Depending on garden/land sits on... let's say 1200sqft downstairs and 1000 upstairs of house and 0.4 acre, the design of build & decor.. where I am... 750k depending on the school catchment.. but a period property same beds n baths 1.4million and a new build that's eco and all planet savvy £2mill.

But where I moved from IG7.. £3mill +

My 2-bed semi is worth £450k.

In Hertfordshire would be £800,000+.

A house near my nan in Co Mayo.. as we are sort of thinking about it.. 5bed 4 bath Cong, Co Mayo €450k. 3000sqft on 1acre site, gym & games room, 1mile from town, lush green hills... lough Coirib not too far... but I want smaller, wife wants room for guests.

North-west about 500-600k
