That's similar to our village, but people pay a hefty mark up for the gorgeous (or utterly impractical, depending on your viewpoint) period houses in town, so houses like that are less desirable. People often move out from London and commute to the City, so lots of money to spend.

It's the massive London/ not London divide I suspect. If your house is commutable it's worth much more.

£500k to 1m for that size house in my area. This is an area that is cheap and not desirable in West Yorkshire. .

Probably like 250/280? The house near me with 5 beds, 2 baths sold for 210k a year or two ago.

I'd say about £750k in my patch of the n.e.

Just had a look on Rightmove. Nearest one to me with that spec is 650k. Which is a lot for round here, but it's in a posh street.
