I was hoping that Kamala would be a shoo-in for the presidency, but looking at the betting odds, I’m feeling quite pessimistic.
It’s incomprehensible to me that a convicted felon, racist, rapist, liar and misogynist who spurred on an insurrection - after everything that’s happened - is running for office again and may very well win.
It’s comforting to read though that fellow Brits DON’T support him.
Apart from Reform. Obviously.

You don't understand American politics and the global media isn't honest so I don't blame you for not understanding. Abortion is easily accessible in the majority of states (and even into the 3rd trimester in places) and Trump is pro-abortion up to at least 15 weeks, if not further, just not at the federal level. It is a state's rights issue.

It's not about "blokes in the loo" but women's rights being erased in sports, education and business as Harris/Walz is pro self ID and have continually tried to pass legislation to make gender, not just sex, a protected class.

The fact Musk is bribing people with $1m a day shows that he and Trumps other shady backers are expecting a serious return on investment that will dwarf anything he’s spent. For them to be this desperate makes me really scared about what they want to do.
