That’s just it really. I really need a cuddle but that’s not possible so can anybody just support me right now? My mental health is on the floor right now I’ve never felt as low it’s making me feel so ill

I don’t have Facebook or insta but I like watching funny things on tik tok.
The funniest video I’ve watched was this man in the street talking to some men who were filming this fox in the street. I think it was London or somewhere like that.
The man is giving them a spiel about not to be afraid of foxes , they’re one of the nicest animals in wildlife and they are good tempered creatures.
He then gestures to the fox with his hands to come towards him and is going ‘see I told you’ and the fox then proceeds to bite him! 😂

I can’t wait to make a Sunday roast for my children and chicken tagliatelle. And then do my tea bag trick on my pans .
Feel sad tonight , I can hear fireworks outside and it just hit me that it’s bonfire night soon and made me really pang for my children . I’ve put tv on for the first time because I feel so lonely. Just to have some background noise .
Have you watched ‘Miracles from heaven’? That’s a good film but very sad. Oh and another brill rom com is ‘Forever my girl’.
Im due to have physio but its been put on hold until ive seen neurology.

What's the tea bag trick??

Oh it’s life changing!
So when you’ve got pots and pans that are grubby with food stuck to it after cooking you get a tea bag (can be a used one) and put it in the pan and cover it with cold water. Leave for 10 mins and after it just wipes cleans , no scrubbing required xx

Don't be sad.. Next year you WILL be in your house and you can go watch fireworks with your youngest

Sunday roast and chicken tagliatelle sound so lovely. You are an amazing mum, it shines through in how you speak about your children and how understanding you are. Maybe all these future dreams of cooking meals and doing normal stuff can provide you with some hope (even as they are also making you sad).

i haven’t seen the psychic reading one, that sounds so funny 🤣🤣.

I don’t really have a signature dish 🤔🤔. I like doing curries, chilli, spag bol, shepherds pie etc. and have a bread maker which is great for homemade pizza.

You will have all those jobs with cleaning and mess and washing up to do soon, I know it 🌺💕.

Ohh I’d love a bread maker , I’m terrible at making spag Bol I don’t know why but I make a good lasagne but have to use fresh pasta sheets. I can’t get on with them hard ones .
Homemade pizza sounds absolutely delicious.
When I was on slimming world I used to make my own steak bakes . Used warburtons sandwich thins and put tinned chunky steak in them and then sealed them with egg yolk they were delicious.

Good morning Laura. I hope you had a restful night. I thought I would just check in with you before I start work from my office. I usually WFH. I had actually been thinking before you posted about the fireworks that our location would probably be good for them. I'm glad you enjoyed them. There were lots near me. The cat even braved going outside. It's a great excuse to meet my friend for afternoon cocktails. Happy Friday everyone xx

Morning @Imbluedalale ! Just checking in, seeing how you are and if any progress for you on housing.
It’s great that you said the “my mental health coordinator said that the email that the boss of the mental health team sent to the council was very very good. She stated he made it very clear that the accommodation offered to me wasn’t in any way suitable for me.”

If you are arguing with council about “refusing” the accommodation just keep referring back to that letter and any other professionals who have commented (I think you said police had) e.g. “I did not refuse suitable accommodation. No suitable accommodation was offered. You have an email from (name) in the mental health team which clearly states that. I am a victim of domestic abuse, I am disabled, I have mental health concerns. The accommodation needs to reflect these needs”. If necessary adding “You must comply with the legal obligations on you in these circumstances.”

Generally in these fights the objective opinion of professionals carries more weight. Sorry if this is all obvious already.

If you have someone sympathetic, emotion and the wider story can make them more inclined to help - depends who you get. If you don’t get sympathy then hard facts may be next method of persuasion. Utterly ridiculous that you should have to be doing any of it anyway! Fingers crossed MP office can do it for you - make sure you get in touch with them today.

I managed to get a few solid hours in but I woke up at 4am not feeling very well and then from 6am I’ve had my head over the toilet on and off since then . I really don’t feel very well I think it’s the stress of it all xx

Ohh I love cocktails 🍸 , I’m currently doing that being teetotal for a year . I wanted to try a month which I did and then thought I’ll try a year , I’ve done 5 months so far but I do love a cocktail especially when on holiday.
