Did anyone else have really bad side effects this time? I am a bit better now but I was in a horrible way last night. Thought I was getting full-on flu!

It is really tough to know. I wish there was more transparency and research. It could answer questions like this and lead to better treatment.

At least you would be aware of the symptoms and seek swift treatment.

Good luck and best wishes.

Yes me too, seems a really grey area.
Hope you’re fully recovered now too. It’s scary stuff at the time!

Exactly, really hard to credit some of these comments. Wonder if the same people will be taking the Bubonic Plague vaccine that is being talked about currently.

Some stats out this morning as to how most health care providers are not taking these jabs...they know!

What do they know? My friend is a health care provider who didn't take her jab and was flattened by flu for 2 or 3 weeks over Christmas. She will be taking her jab next year!

No idea...didn't read the detail. It just flashed up with stats re flu and covid jabs and HCPs....

Nurse, work with children and babies, who do get flu and can be very unwell/die from it. All our team get their flu vaccine. It’s given on our unit. No idea re Covid but I had mine months ago. Was fine. Have a severely asthmatic child at home so also like to protect him. Those who get it, I trust have done their own research about having vaccines.

those who don’t that’s fine, but I don’t tell people to have theirs, anymore than I appreciate people telling me not to have mine, it’s my choice for my body as a health professional I’ve made sure I am informed. Someone going on about ohhh you know what’s in them on mumsnet is hardly going to change my mind. You’d be as well saving your energy
