I don’t get the obsession with Disney among grown adults. AIBU to think that being so into children’s movies and merchandise is immature?

Immature means to not be fully developed.

How is someone who loves Disney not fully developed?
I should tell my friend, who is a nurse (so in charge of looking after people) that she is immature as she just spent her wedding anniversary at Disneyland (no kids). They both wore ears for their photos... loads of balloons too.

I suppose our expectations of "full development" have been in decline for some time.

I’m 50 and my husband is 53 and we went to Disneyland Paris earlier this year, just the two of us. Do people look at us wondering what we’re doing there? I don’t care, we love the rides and the whole atmosphere. Is there nothing that you do for the fun, OP?
