Went on a blind date on Friday night, nice looking guy, tall (6 ft 6) and handsome in a rough looking way, we got on very well and he liked me a lot, in fact he told me yesterday in a phone conversation, that when he saw me come across the pub car park he was blown away! but i didnt like his shoes and its really putting me off him....

In my effort to not let this affect my perception of him, i agreed to go out with him again yesterday for lunch, in hope he would be wearing better shoes.....

His shoes were not as bad this time, but not great either, and i didnt like his t-shirt...wtf is wrong with me, i know IABU, why am i being so fussy when i cant afford to at my age!

Can i take him shopping for new shoes??

I might see him again just to see if the old wives tale about big feet is true

Do men notice dirty toilets though? My dh never cleans our toilet, it just doesn't occur to him. Maybe he has a cleaner and they aren't cleaning while the house is being renovated. Clean fridge is a good sign.

I dont think manky hanky and stitty toilet makes me shallow....ok maybe the shoes does.

If you do decide to go for a fumble, just make sure you give him the Twist phone call beforehand. "Don't forget to wash your sheets...and your penis."

Perhaps it means she only goes for scientologists?

Ooh MMJ, Jarvis or the other one?

Gak!

2GIRLS · 21/04/2008 12:37

I don't think you like him that much. If you did you'd probably be able to overlook his shoes, socks, hankies....

MRSMATTIE Could I ask you a question about trainers please? I have some old Adidas ones from the mid 90's, might they be worth selling? I didn't wear them much.

Thankyou

cyteen · 21/04/2008 12:41
