Did you know who Cat Deeley was before she joined This Morning?

When Cat Deeley became presenter of This Morning earlier this year I had not heard of her before, some of my friends are surprised that I did not know who she was. (We are all in our 40's by the way) I knew who Holly Willoughby was though.

Am I weird in never having heard of her before?

Paddy Kielty has the prime time programme on the Irish tv channel RTE. A 2 hour live chat show on Friday nights and he’s great on it.

Paddy is hosting the Late Show on RTE in Ireland. It's their flagship show. He is vvv popular in Ireland (both bits)

I knew her name but couldn’t have picked her out of a line up. But I don’t watch TM so I probably still wouldn’t know who she is.

She was a well known TV presenter Iin the 90s then wen to US for quite a few years Married to Patrick Kielty or do you not know who he’s is either!! .

I knew her from way back when she did MTV presenting but I don’t think YABU/YANBU whether you know her or not, not everyone shares the same pop culture.

I definitely know who she was - quite a regular on UK TV before she moved to the USA

I think she was on TFI Friday before she did Saturday morning TV. She'd come on in leathers and a motorcycle helmet and then take the helmet off and swish her hair around.

Yes, she presented SMTV (with Ant and Dec) and at least one other vote based show - there's a clip of her swearing at the audience because she wanted them to be quiet so she can announce something or other. She's always had an annoying voice.
