So he has a cold. Took a Covid test and it was clear He is sneezing and feeling sorry for himself. We were meant to go away today Last night he said "can we set off later tomorrow " I said yes Then this morning he said he doesn't want to go at all So now he is playing on the computer upstairs I'm honestly fuming I've lost the train fare £70 Luckily hotel was pay on arrival so I can cancel Aibu to be annoyed ?

What he's done to make amends for not going is great.

Doing all these other stuff would piss me off to no end. I can't stand when grown adults don't cover their moths when coughing/sneezing.

I’m not sure what you’re doing so can’t tell if you’re being unreasonable, but if it was me I’d avoid him for the time being.

Take that £100 and get down the shops.

I'm not able to stay locked in because I have a cold and cough and lose £100s or £1000s of pound because of a cold?

Oh well I'll slink off... forgot this was AIBU.

You didn't just say a cough and just a cold though, you said a horrendous cough and flu and you'd been off work all week with it.
The flu is a bit different to just having a runny nose.

And yes I was being selfish
Now I'm over it
I wouldn't like to walk around York with a cold either ...but in that moment I was disappointed and a bit annoyed
In day to day life I'm a nice person
I do everything for him
Cook /clean /washing and yet he's now spilling for an argument because he has a cold.
He asked me to get to the chemist for cough medicine -I told him we had some
He thinks of something he needs so I have to go to this particular chemist

Not related to the initial post OP but get a Lemsip spray, the ones that stop colds before they really start. Nasal spray 4 times a day and you should be fine.

Give him a break he's unwell.

I've just had a nasty cold and spent most of two days in bed. No way would I want to be anywhere other than at home.

He doesn't have a cough but he is still spluttering about
He has a cold -that's it
A cold
No chest infection
He's not dying
He's got a simple coat
He's making a meal of it and determined to give it to me
Simple as that
