No breakfast (I fast 16:8 most days)

L: Salmon poke bowl, cherries, an apple

Creamy tarragon roast chicken (from Julius Roberts’ The Farm Table), frites, tomato and basil salad, rocket salad green beans. Glass of Gewirtztraminer.

A square of dark chocolate in front of Masterchef. Co-Op chocolate- disappointing, not chocolatey enough. I normally get the Waitrose 80% cocoa stuff.

Can I have your recipe for filo pastry quiche please?

There probably is a recipe online but I just make it up/ use whatever I have in the fridge.

Large deep loose bottom tin
5-6 sheets filo
Olive oil or melted butter
8 eggs
1.5 cups of double cream or milk approx, or part milk/ part cottage cheese
Half packet grated parmesan or cheddar
Asparagus
Leek or any veg you have
Salt and pepper
Fresh or dried herbs- thyme, oregano

Basically just part cook your veg
Spread oil or butter on each sheet and line the tin
Add veg
Add egg/ milk mixture
Add cheese
(For this particular one I added dollops of leftover pesto)
Cook on low to medium heat in an oven for approx 45 mins or until the quiche is cooked through with a slight wobble

A bacon and egg sandwich with ketchup for breakfast

No lunch as was still full so just had a packet of hula hoops

Tea is a shawarma kebab I have just ordered as it’s our monthly takeaway night

We have been also making our way through some Get Baked goodies, we ordered a Bertha muffin which we shared with DS last night, then we also ordered a Cereal Killa pie and snickers brownie which me and DH had half each of 🤤

Oh also made mango smoothies for DC and had one of those so one bit of fruit at least 🤣 I have to say that’s a really terrible day of food looking at it written down but in my defence I am pre menstrual and usually eat my 5 a day!
