This is awful, my thoughts are with the French and worldwide Jewish community.

I've seen lots of protests about Syria, Iran etc but I'm in London often and go through Trafalgar square so see a lot of protests like this.

I am a Londoner and I disagree with your comment. There have been small Iranian protests, supported by Jewish people I know. There have been absolutely no huge protests like the pro Palestinian ones, which are intimidating to say the very least.
