If you are in the fortunate position of being able in terms of material things - ie, a comfortable home, laundry done from home, nice holidays abroad - if your child has already experienced those things, be VERY careful. Otherwise, they can, and will, make your life hell. PUT BOUNDARIES DOWN - deal with tantrums and rudeness, shoot those down, take no prisoners. You should have been doing this from the start, tbh.

Well I don't have children, but I do use a communal laundry in the basement of my apartment block. My cat is safe from being a spoiled brat.
