To ask if you think the Olympic boxers are male?

The finals for both boxers are tonight and tomorrow.

I'm curious to hear whether people think they are females with a DSD, or males with a DSD.

YANBU - they're male

Yes. I have been looking at their arms and the compare them to female arms. While that kind of muscle definition and vascular definition is attainable in bodybuilding for females, it does not seem at all common in the female boxers who are at the Olympics right now in their competition form.

It is common in male athletes with lower body fat, a larger hearts and larger veins to carry the extra oxygen their bodies produce and their very different muscle combinations and ability to build muscle. The list goes on.

And the knees. With the Q angles. The knees have a different visual appearance due to the bones meeting the knee at a different angle. Male knees are straighter. And again, more muscular.

But, this has nothing to do with 'conforming to society's view of femininity'. This is pointing out the male bodies have completely different abilities and mechanical needs than female bodies.

And it is ludicrous for posters to demonise those people who can see these very visual cues when either those posters cannot see the visual cues or they choose to believe that what they can see is just another 'female body'. Just like Semenya has been said over and over and over to have 'just another female body', 'just a female with high testosterone'. No. Just no.

when I was watching khalif box, I was sure she had breasts when looking side on.

Please look at all the photos of Khelif without any crop tops under their clothes or chest protection. There are some from before the Olympics on any google search.

Either way, it does not matter.

The only thing that does matter is:

Testes and a virilised body.

Breasts do not matter a jot.

The Olympic Committee served take down notices on their own opening ceremony!

If you cannot see how this is all manipulation and obscufation then I'm not sure where to go next.

The simplest solution, do independent XY or XX tests yes? So why are they not doing that?

Intersex’ people are still male or female - stop othering them 😡 Yes, some people with a Y chromosome are female but that doesn’t seem to apply to IK who not only failed a chromosome test but has gone through male puberty and, allegedly, has male levels of testosterone.

We can't tell if this person has testes by looking at this picture. What is needed is a cheek swab and chromosomal test.

Which has happened.

If people don't believe the IBA tests, they should retest.

All athletes shoudl be cheek swabbed as a matter of course.

We don’t know. Nobody does except those with access to tests and medical info. They have really messed this up for everyone. The IOC need to be more transparent so that the completion is fair.

Its the lack of breasts, lack of waist, lack of hips, appearance of the knee. I'd read that as male at a quick glance. I mean I'm not feminine, don't think I own anything pink at all, short hair that doesn't need a head band. Don't bother with makeup (have you seen some of those clips to reshape your face with make-up) live in shorts, t-shirt and trainers but you'd still read me as female due to aforementioned waist, hips and knees.
