Laundry.
It never fucking ends. It's just the sheer volume of it and the dread at putting it all away once dry.
The thing I'm most looking forward to about one day living on my own, is having only one lot of washing to do.
What about you?

I rarely dust either and you really can't tell!
As far as all those quoting laundry, maybe if people didn't follow the MN mantra of using a bath towel once, changing every item of clothing at least once a day then the load would be far less. A lot of it is totally unnecessary.

Agreed. Washed my bath towels today for the 1st time in ages!!

HA! If only we could lose weight as easy as we lose pens, keys etc.!

Literally every time we fart we actually lose weight so how comes I'm not skinny by now?!

Assuming your farts are mostly methane, when you fart you gain weight, because methane is lighter than air. 😁

Cleaning. I don’t have a cleaner, but if I did that would eradicate about 90% of arguments in the house (as well as generally making it a bit nicer and cleaner to live in).

Job insecurity.

Life would be much nicer if I felt like the industry/organisation I work in wasn't imperilled!

People who walk towards a shop in front of you and then inexplicably stop at the entrance, causing everyone behind them to stumble into each other.

Rent. If I never had to pay rent and had secure housing my whole life would be better.

MumblesParty · 05/08/2024 14:28

Football.
Single Mum, 2 teen boys, football mad. We have season tickets for the local team, boys play football for several teams, training, matches - honestly, I could employ a full time PA just to coordinate all the football related activities. And this year it didn’t even stop for 4 weeks in the summer (summer 6-a-side league). It exhausts me. I actually like football too, but the juggling and coordination has made me dread the season. Not to mention the emotion!

Eradicating my abusive husband made my life so much easier. Highly recommended it if anyone is flip-flopping.

My DH's Stage 4 cancer which is incurable. And he will die too young.

Nothing else in life matters apart from health.

😥💐 I'm so sorry, no one should have to go through that
