What one thing, if eradicated from your life, would make it all easier?

Laundry.
It never fucking ends. It's just the sheer volume of it and the dread at putting it all away once dry.
The thing I'm most looking forward to about one day living on my own, is having only one lot of washing to do.
What about you?

One of the mum’s from my child’s school! If she was eradicated from my life it would be amazing! 🤩

Utterknowitall · 05/08/2024 20:55

I would like war and poverty to be eradicated.

But the one thing that would make my life easier would be for my my child's special needs to be eradicated.

bumblenbean · 05/08/2024 20:59

OCD 😩

@Tryonemoretime me too, Long Covid - so sorry for you x

And I'm so sorry you have it, too! Hope that it burns itself out for both of us.....

TheEnglishIrishman · 05/08/2024 21:02

Noisy inconsiderate neighbour.

HelenaTranscart · 05/08/2024 21:07

Idiots. They're everywhere!

Kago2790 · 05/08/2024 21:07

The need for sleep. Would love to be able to feel fine on 4 hours a night like a few people claim. Love the late hours when its quiet but sadly it really puts a cloud over the next day unless I can get a lie in.

Long Covid.

That's 3 of us on this thread. We could form a Long Covid club 😬

ScrambledSmegs · 05/08/2024 21:08

Migraines. They're genuinely ruining my life and have been for the last 30 years. Whoever said they would stop when I no longer had periods was a lying bastard (every male GP and neurologist I've seen).

My DH?

(Semi joking)

Same.

Susanw1985 · 05/08/2024 21:19

Diabetes-the never ending carb calculations and injections for myself and my son are exhausting.

AuraBora · 05/08/2024 21:19

Excess body hair - started when I was quite young and I just can't begin to imagine the time I have spent trying to get rid of it. It's all over and getting worse with age especially on my face. I hate it and it's embarrassing.
Laser treatment didn't work when I had it done and now I can't really afford giving it another go. What is the point if it really?!

Also clutter - just cannot seem to keep on top of it and spend soooo much time tidying/sorting/trying to keep on top of it. Keep trying different strategies and being as ruthless as I can but with two young kids it seems particularly hard.
Mental clutter as well - endless life admin/boring stuff to think about and plan.

MyOtherHusbandIsAWash · 05/08/2024 21:22

Patriarchy. Imagine how much easier and better life would be for everyone if women were invariably seen as equals to men.

MyOtherHusbandIsAWash · 05/08/2024 21:23

Also dust 😂

Coldfinch · 05/08/2024 21:48

The school run - every aspect of it.

Bowies · 05/08/2024 22:07

Delete self inflated idiots

Atethehalloweenchocs · 05/08/2024 22:08

Work! Wish I could retire now!

TaterTots68 · 05/08/2024 22:12

Housework. I know we could pay someone to do it, but it's just too intrusive and I'd feel I'd need to clean before they came round which defeats the object!

Summersunshine112 · 05/08/2024 22:15

All social media! I would be so much more productive and it would help with FOMO

purpleme12 · 05/08/2024 22:22

My child's challenging behaviour

Aniseedtwists · 05/08/2024 22:23

Debt and mortgage

Mrsgreen100 · 05/08/2024 23:47

Ex partner of 25 years
only thing he ever did was put the rubbish out
i still hate putting out the rubbish
but thankfully got rid of the real rubbish when I kicked his arse out

anon666 · 06/08/2024 08:41

Illness. I feel like I'm never well these days. Currently in bed - again - with either flu or covid.

Being ill really knocks me out these days.
