Very much looking forward to the court cases

Absolute sub-human scum rioting in the streets. Attacking hotels with humans inside. Burning down libraries and CABs. Pretending it’s about immigration when it’s just mindless animal violence.

I am very much looking forward to their days in court. Starting point for Violent Disorder - two years. Attempted Murder? Life sentence.

Not so hard now, are you lads? Fuck you all. I just sympathise with their wives and kids cos a sentence like that means saying goodbye to any social housing they might live in.

And they filmed themselves. I hope they live in fear of that knock on the door for years. Then when it comes, I hope they realise that they’ve ruined their lives.

Them, and the traitors who encouraged them.

Scumbags one and all.

And frankly I don’t care if anyone thinks I’m being unreasonable or not.

How can someone be responsible for someone elses behaviour when coercive control is against the law

Here we go. John Honey from Hull who was spotted stealing gingerbread men from Greg’s and bags of toiletries from Lush and a mobile phone was in court this morning. Of course they have a choice. They could stay in France.

This kind of nonsense talk is exactly the problem. After the Dublin riots a lot of those living along the canal were Pakistani and admitted they had been settled in other countries but they just wanted to come to Ireland. Their perception was streets paved with gold.

Britain has a lot of economic migrants alongside refugees. We need safe routes for both refugees and economic migrants with the skills we need. But we can't send a message "If you survive the boat journey welcome to Britain, land of milk and honey." The message needs to be "You will be repatriated and billed for it because you don't have the skills we need and we can't afford to give you a home and medical care because we're not even providing that for our own citizens."

Does it never occur to you for a single minute to question why people don’t stay in France?

MouseofCommons · 05/08/2024 20:21

Why would you stay in France when you can't speak French? It's painful on here sometimes.

I suspect most of them aren't well travelled! 😅

I reckon this is wrong. Loads of the most racist, small-minded, criminal record-holding folks I know of are very well travelled in the sense of having taken loads of nice summer holidays in the EU and sometimes beyond.

There is no paradox to them in traveling abroad and enjoying the best of what other countries can offer, whilst at the same time being completely xenophobic in outlook at home.

It is actually international law that refugees must seek help in the first country they come to.

No that’s absolutely not the case.
I’m sorry for your troubles but I don’t see much point engaging with you further.

From google:

o refugees have to stay in the first country they arrive in?

There is no legal requirement for a refugee to claim asylum in any particular country. There is a requirement for the first safe country in which they arrive to hear their asylum claim but, if this does not happen for any reason, the refugee is then free to make their asylum claim elsewhere.

Excellent news, his mug has been all over Twitter. Very pleased to see that he has been quickly found and dealt with. Hope he gets made an example of and does some proper jail time. I know the prisons are full but these horrors could perhaps be crammed 4 into a 2 person cell as an additional punishment

Attempted murder for starters for this lot of thugs when the law catches up with them.

Interestingly one of those is the infamous St George’s tshirt wearing looter John Honey. The one who was in court yesterday and remanded. Only charged with three counts of robbery, two counts of burglary, violent disorder and criminal damage. Let’s hope they do increase the charges because I’d agree that dragging people out their cars is more than violent disorder.

I don't care who they are or where they come from, we cannot afford to shelter them. They come half way round the world and end up here: WHY?

Why, every time someone like me - who has no colour prejudice and know there are genuine cases, says anything about them not coming here, people like you accuse us of racial discrimination? Is that how they get here, by preying on people like you to prey on people like us?

Please, as you seem to have intimate knowledge if ILLEGAL immigrants, tell us how you think we can feed, clothe and house them when we cannot do the same for British nationals?

They are required to register in the first country in Europe, because Europe comes before Britain. Why don't they seek asylum there? Why Britain? You only have to look on a map to see how small we are. There have been people on housing waiting lists for years, single parent families having to go from house to house, bed and breakfast, sofa sailing, people who are unable to put their roots down anywhere.

Have the boat immigrants who leave from French beaches been processed before they - those still alive that it - come to our shores?

The French should know who they are and where they come from, when they enter France. Do they tell us? What about the people who buy the boats? Has anyone checked up on where the thousands of life jackets are made, and who buys them?

If registration is required before they come here, why is it such a surprise when they turn up?

If you know so much about it, please tell me why they want to come to overcrowded Britain?

British nationals, whatever their colour or creed are taxpayers, don't want any more immigrants either. British nationals come in every colour and creed, They work hard, try to bring up their children, then have to battle with the cost of living, and to accommodate and feed people who should not come here?

How many British nationals can rustle up thousands to pay for a dodgy boat ticket? Why don't the immigrants buy an air or ferry ticket instead, register on the plane, or ship? It is surely cheaper?

Will we have to have wind farms all along the coast to deter them?

Motomum23 · 06/08/2024 12:56

Don't be ridiculous. These people don't live in social housing - if they did they wouldn't be protesting as they would be better off.

What post are you referring to ? Is this addressed to me or are you responding to another post? I have not commented on social housing.

Having said that, why would people renting privately be better of than those in social housing? Is that an assumption, or do you have figures?

yeah lets see a link oh hang on Ive got one for you @Motomum23

The prime targets for such social engineering are council estates subject to large scale “regeneration” projects, another word that’s become heavily loaded. Again, some of the responsibility for this lies with New Labour. In 1998, Tony Blair launched the New Deal for Communities at the Aylesbury estate in south London. Today, the area is testimony to how housing policies dominated by private developers have reshaped working class communities and the role of HAs in this.

The Elephant and Castle neighbourhood is being physically, socially and ethnically transformed. This started with the demolition of the Heygate estate, a classic for stigmatised perceptions of council housing and the people who live in it. As the local 35% Campaign has meticulously documented, a succession of promises to Heygate residents were broken to arrive at a situation where 1,214 council homes were demolished, to be replaced with 2,704 new homes, of which only 82 (3%) are for social rent. The HA partner was London and Quadrant. To be eligible for the cheapest one-bedroom home built by them on the Heygate site, people needed a minimum household income of £57,500. The average household income in that part of Southwark is £24,324

From a 2019 thread im assuming you can do maths! Now would you like more about other estates or is this enough 🤔

I’ve not read beyond your first sentence because you’ve misunderstood and I feel embarrassed for you. Suffice it to say refugees absolutely do not have to claim asylum in the first country they reach, even though that country has an obligation to hear any claim. It’s clearly set out in international law. Otherwise, the UK being an island would obviate us of any responsibility to take even one refugee.
Please let that be the end of any interaction with me. It’s just cringe inducing.

I hope they do lose their social housing.

Same. Men like that don't marry reasonable women and raise good children, they marry low lives like themselves and raise shitty children. There should be repercussions for the whole family.

In fairness, that's exactly what she said. So no need to be embarrassed for her.

I wish a civil dialogue was easier to have.

What an awful thing to say. You absolutely can't assume that the spouse of a criminal has similar morals to the criminal, and absolutely not the children what is wrong with you?

LiterallyOnFire · 06/08/2024 17:46

@llizzie Clearly you're very much against further immigration. How would you stop it, if you were in charge?

So you obviously admire North Korea where whole families are punished when one of them commits a crime?

Yes and whats the betting the H is handy with his fists at home. Plus financial and emotional abuse. Their families have very likely gone without essentials while their partners spend money on travelling to protests to riot.

Hmm. Got to say the phrase 'repercussions for the whole family' does not sit well with me. Innocents punished for other people's crimes.
It strikes me as being a bit, y'know, far right but obviously it can't be that, can it, because you don't like them.
