Biological men should not be fighting women how is this even happening ?? Two 'women' failed eligibility tests by the IBA. Yet the IOC deem them suitable it's mind boggling

Would manslaughter or other charge be different if man women trans or whatever be any different?

You are ignoring the far higher risk of a woman dying or being seriously injured if she’s boxing a man.

Its like saying someone driving a 70 mph in 30 zone and who hit and killed someone, should be treated the same as someone who hit and killed someone when doing 30 in a 30 zone.

Can I just point out that Angela Carini is not a shit boxer, she has had 84 wins 4 by knock out. She has had 22 losses none by knock out.
Her boxing history shows that she is able to take a punch by another woman and losses to other women.

Still no public evidence she has X and Y chromosome, yet everyone seems to knows she is a man, has X and Y chromosome, went through male puberty, shaves, has a penis and knows she is a man and is active cheater.

This may be true, but we do not know and mob mentality means public is judge and jury and executioner with no facts. No male should ever be competing against a female and I feel desperately sorry for the Italian.

Yet the hate and vitriol for the Algerian when we do not know the facts is shameful. The IOC should never have let it get to this and has failed both athletes. They are both human beings.

We have the information from the IBA.

Which is pretty clear, they failed two eligibility tests which were not based on testosterone, but other mechanisms.

The issue is unscrupulous coaches seeking out people with DSDs specifically to cheat.

Yes and how long has this been going on for now? 5/10 years? How long does it take to raise/ train an athlete?

They are going to have to be quick to sort this or no females will be given the opportunity to even train let alone win.

Ekkhart Arbeit was accused of this in the 00s when he scouted Semenya in a region of South Africa that was known to have a cluster of male people with that particular DSD.

Ekkhart Arbeit is a sports scientist with an expertise in testosterone levels in sport, and has been accused of doping the women he coached in Germany. Obviously, there is no conviction for this doping as it was never something taken through court so we will never know for sure, but he lost his job managing the Australian Olympic teams very quickly after starting when the governing body realised what his background was.

Before the 00s, there was no need to scout for these athletes because they were excluded from the female sports category based on their sex.

She ended the fight to avoid being killed. She herself said she needed to prioritize her life.

She was being hit with a force 2.5 times harder than she would have experienced from a woman.

That you need to deny this to make your case, shows how weak your case is.

After the farce of the opening ceremony it doesn't surprise me that the IOC takes this stance at this Olympics. Over on twitter someone has uploaded a video of Khalif groping their opponent, because breaking her nose wasn't enough

How about we scrap the whole men women competitions and instead have chromosomes competitions instead?

That should clear a whole of issues that we are having

But it will not. There is some chance that the boxer has XX chromosomes, together with a medical condition.

I don't know if you're gaslighting for kicks, too ignorant to understand basic biology or mildly insane, but for fuck's sake open your eyes. You don't need 20/20 vision to see immediately that this pathetic individual is a MAN.

Tommeetippee · 02/08/2024 10:25

XY should not compete against XX however how have these competitors passed the stringent doping tests set down at this level? Don't they test testosterone levels in international sports?

Midnightalready · 02/08/2024 10:26

vivainsomnia · 02/08/2024 07:58

Sex is determined in three ways: chromosomes, hormones, sex organs.

Normally, all three align to determine ones sex.

In DSD, there is a misalignment between the three. This misalignment defers for each person with the diagnosis. Some will have the XY chromosome AND the hormonal profile of a man, but sex organs looking more like females. Others though will have the XY chromosome AND the female hormonal profile.

My understanding is that they were tested for their hormonal profile and the result was more of female than male at this time and that's why they were allowed to compete.

If they have a female hormonal profile, why do they look so male?

Yup. Because that's what women do to their opponents isn't it - reach out and touch their breasts. Ffs.

You’re showing over and over again that you know exactly who the women are.
