my issue with it, that he's 'bragging' about it now & discussing it with you so early on. I'd find that a complete turn off.

It’s the bragging about it (especially ON A DATE) that would put me off. The age of the other adult involved wouldn’t really bother me. And it probably isn’t even true. But the fact that a grown man would think this story was a) something to share with you in the first place and b) likely to impress you.
