@treo exactly. My DS is 13 so not even fully grown but puberty has meant he is stacking on muscle. He could already outrun/lift/punch a girl of his age so by adulthood the difference will be even greater.

DSD is more common in some countries, I think in UK it is spotted early so the sex of the child is clear from early on.
There are certain peopl scouting these countries for DSD males to compete.

How do you know they grew up thinking they were female? how do you know they have a medical condition? how do you know what the gender test was. I suspect it was visual and that they saw they had male genitals.

Women and girls who try to stand up against this are punished severely. Riley Gaines, April Hutchison and Deta Hedman are just some of the women who have been given bans and/or faced heavy retribution from their sporting bodies.

It starts early in girls' sporting careers too. A School in Vermont whose girl's basketball team refused to play against a team fielding a male not only were banned from future state sports but so was every other sports team at that school, as well as some non academic groups. Girls taking part in a shot putt competition in Virginia who stepped away from competing against a male were banned from all future competitions.
