Big breasts suck

AIBU in being absolutely fed up with my big saggy breastfeeding boobs?! I absolutely hate when I see influencers or women in real life moaning (boasting) about being a member of the “itty bitty titty committee” when surely everyone knows they look better in clothes, don’t have to deal with huge, industrial bras, and back ache, and looking fat because of your chest.
How I envy woman who miraculously escape pregnancy and breastfeed with a small chest!

YANBU but at the same time, women with small breasts often envy women with large ones. Too many women are unhappy with their bodies. At least you were able to breastfeed your babies, some women can’t and it devastates them. Some women have had breast cancer and have to have mastectomies. If you have chronic back ache, there’s always the option to have a reduction. You can have it done on the nhs but it might be a lengthy wait.

Get a decent brassiere and embrace your knockers!!!!!

we’re all different and that’s ok!

Small breasts do not mean that you can’t breastfeed. I’ve got massive breasts (and I hear you @BigBreastedCow I really do) and I certainly didn’t overproduce when I breastfed. In fact, my breasts are so large that when my babies were very small, my midwife advised me on alternative feeding positions (like rugby ball) because my breast size could have made it difficult for them to feed.

That’s so easy to say. I’ve been to Bravissimo etc. I’ve got sons nice enough bras. But none of them look great with a great shape - because they’re saggy and don’t fill any cup in quite the right way, and will always have a massively wide strap like the scaffolding they are. Many fittings over the years. Sure the bras are “OK” but they don’t totally make up for what I’m working with.

Buddysbunda · 30/07/2024 21:06

I've been moaning about my lack of boobs today. I bought a dress for a fancy wedding that is perfect, hugs me in all the right places but gapes massively at the top. I'd need boobs 3x the size to fill it out. I wasn't boasting just genuinely annoyed that after weeks of looking for a dress I liked my lack of boobs has ruined the perfect dress.

Overall though I agree with you, my teenager was asking me today if I'd ever have a boob job on the back of a discussion about the dress and I said it's not something I would ever consider. I'm slim, I have small boobs, they suit my frame and them being small isn't something I ever really think about or that troubles me.

bananasstink · 30/07/2024 21:07

I feel your pain (literally in my back). Especially in this heat, boob sweat is no fun. I would love to have small boobs. I really hoped breast feeding would shrink them but nope.

NotSmallButFunSize · 30/07/2024 21:07

YANBU - I changed my clothes so many times this morning cos big boobs and summer clothes just don't mix! I would love to throw on some strappy top and not have massive bra straps hanging out or just looking so booby in something cool and flimsy.
And don't get me started on how much you have to spend on decent underwear and swimwear! Apparently if you are bigger than a D cup you surely only ever need a back bigger than a 32.... 😑

vinnabawl · 30/07/2024 21:09

God I loathe my 32F set.

I’m quite small and thin but seem to have ended up with a massive set which are so out of proportion. Can’t afford surgery. Spend a fortune on good quality underwear but it’s still all so sturdy and functional. I’m a runner too and my sports bras are so industrial sized and strong 😂 and I still bounce around in them. I feel like an Only Fans adult star at the pool even with a really plain swimsuit on. Oh and it hurts to sleep on my stomach! And I constantly worried I would smother my DC while breastfeeding

Saltedbutter · 30/07/2024 21:11

36I over here. I feel you.

Sunbird24 · 30/07/2024 21:13

Thing is, when you have small boobs there are things you can do to make them temporarily look bigger (padded bras, chicken fillets etc) but when they’re big you’re just stuck with them unless you get drastic surgery.

I’ve experienced both as I was a late bloomer, had a couple of years in my mid 30s where they were great but they didn’t stop growing and now I don’t like them again. Just can’t win!

Littlebitpsycho · 30/07/2024 21:14

Boob sweat is a killer, I'm red raw under mine today. With 34J (at least) knockers going without a bra, or even without underwires just isn't an option.

Hate hate hate them. Men ogle them and stare, even some women look. What I wouldn't give for some lovely little C cups

ExtraOnions · 30/07/2024 21:14

38H … never given me back-ache.

Trick is a finding a great bra and sticking with the brand. I have a couple of those wireless crop top style ones .. good for lazing about

I never said small breasts can’t breastfeed. I was merely pointing out that at least the op was able to breastfeed because some women, (irrespective of their breast size) cannot.

EddieVeddersfoxymop · 30/07/2024 21:19

I absolutely detest my G cups. I'm short and petite and just look all wrong. I run and even with the most industrial bras they still bounce. I suffocate in yoga classes when we do anything inverted.

I long to chuck on something without a care, but today I'm chaffed, soaking and fed up. DH says to do the surgery but I have PTSD after medical thing and then there's the cost.......

tinytemper66 · 30/07/2024 21:21

Have had small boobs and now have big boobs. Hormone treatment enlarged them and they have never shrunk. I hate it. Nothing looks right. It makes me look bigger than I am. I am only a 32FF/34F but I never think I look right.

Sassybooklover · 30/07/2024 21:24

Big boobs run on both sides of my family, so there wasn't going to be much chance of me being small! I'm 5ft 2, size 12 in clothes with a 32F bust. I have to wear a good supportive bra, all the time. At my smallest I was a 36B in very early teens and at my biggest when pregnant, a 40GG. My issue is that clothing companies assume big bust equates to being bigger everywhere else, and that's not the case! I breast fed my son, and luckily there isn't a huge difference, no I'm not as firm, but it's not really noticeable. Short of having surgery to give your boobs, a lift, I'm not sure there's much you can do.

JohnTheRevelator · 30/07/2024 21:38

Totally agree with you. I've always been pretty well endowed in the boob area, even when I was at my slimmest I was never less than a DD cup. I'm now an E. I bloody hate having big boobs. So difficult to find decent bras that go up to a E cup that aren't hideously expensive,or just plain hideous, full stop! I frequently get high-up back up and sore shoulders and in the hot weather, omfg, the under boob sweating. If I suddenly came into a load of money,I'd have a reduction like a shot. I've had friends over the years who've said they envy me and that they wish they had bigger boobs. I say,be careful what you wish for.

NoLidlNoJoke · 30/07/2024 21:42

I am a 36K, I hear you.

Aesthetically I like having really big boobs because it's somewhat unusual. But since having kids my back no longer copes with them. Honestly just standing up is tiring because of them!

I honestly think maybe what we need are sort of corsets, not for slimming but so you could somehow scaffold the boob support up from the hips and waist??! The way bras work just doesn't make sense or work well for me.

LunaandLily · 30/07/2024 21:50

I hate having big boobs. Currently breastfeeding as well, so they’re even bigger and saggier than usual. Hope breastfeeding shrinks them.

79pinkballoons · 30/07/2024 21:53

YANBU. I'm getting a reduction, not going to put up with mine any more.

Plimsoll73 · 30/07/2024 21:54

I hear you OP. If I could afford it I'd be having a breast reduction. I hate them.

CallyT · 30/07/2024 21:54

Its been a while since a big breast hating thread. Sorry OP, I just mean a few times a year these crop up and they are always so negative.

I love my breasts although yes they do make life difficult sometimes. I just feel like saying I 'hate' any part of myself is a bad message to send my brain.

MrsToothyBitch · 30/07/2024 21:55

I hate mine too. Grateful they're healthy and I've had comments about them being very symmetrical which is nice but I really dislike how they make me look.

Trying to lose weight as it is but they don't help you look or feel streamlined and big boobs & big un hideable bras ruin the look of many nice summer outifts.

MonsteraMama · 30/07/2024 21:56

Amen sister. The day I rolled over in bed and my tits clapped loud enough to wake my husband was the day I decided to get a reduction and a lift 🙃

MrsToothyBitch · 30/07/2024 21:56

I hate my wedding photos because I'm all boob in them. I didn't even pick a busty dress but there they are adding a good stone on me. Bloody udders.
