Big breasts suck

BigBreastedCow · 30/07/2024 20:52

AIBU in being absolutely fed up with my big saggy breastfeeding boobs?! I absolutely hate when I see influencers or women in real life moaning (boasting) about being a member of the “itty bitty titty committee” when surely everyone knows they look better in clothes, don’t have to deal with huge, industrial bras, and back ache, and looking fat because of your chest.
How I envy woman who miraculously escape pregnancy and breastfeed with a small chest!

GG not able to bf no milk...got breast cancer begged for mastectomy as the neck problems causing migraine were crippling. Spend £100 s on bras can't get a reduction on NHS and can't afford one. Hate them

Yes some women can’t breastfeed whether their breasts are large or small and it’s very upsetting for a lot of women. This happened to my friend and she was absolutely devastated. She tried so hard but her milk just didn’t come in. I know that some people are able to get reductions on the nhs when they can’t cope with the pain and it’s affecting their mental health. Just like women who get implants on the nhs because having small breasts is affecting their mental health. It’s a lengthy process and you have to fight really hard to get it but it does happen. Get a letter of support for financing surgery from a physio and GP. You really have to push for it.

Losing weight will shrink them though so that's my first port of call before a reduction

It will shrink them but will it leave them saggier than before I wonder?

Not if you do exercises that build up your pectoral muscles underneath the breasts.

I hate mine too 😒,I'm an L cup and finding bras in that size are near enough impossible, even from retailers who specialise in big boob bras. The biggest I can find in the UK are a K cup so I have to wear bras that are too small for me just so I can wear a bra.I wear a normal bra then like a sports bra/crop top type thingy ontop of that to catch the overspill and to give a little extra support as no bra gives me sufficient lift as my boobs are so big and heavy.
I feel like a freak everyday with them as they are impossible to miss and clothes never sit right on me 😔.
I wouldn't qualify for a reduction on the NHS due to my BMI and there's no way in the world I can afford to go private so I'm stuck with them. They really are the bane of my life.

My sister is a L cup and shorter than me. She was offered the operation almost straightaway after referral. She said the consultant looked at her and said 'classic' and offered her the removal virtually at once. BUT my sister can still only get it once she reaches the target weight. Then they'll do it without any preamble. I don't think she has to lose very much though, but as she's a busy social worker with young kids with SEN, I think day to day stress makes losing the weight hard.

Defo look into it. (I don't think I would qualify as I'm 32/34 G to GG which may still not be 'big enough' though I hate it!!

DysonSphere · 01/08/2024 11:21

*You may find you don't need to lose as much weight as you may think, I guess is what I'm saying

And from what I hear if they are small they stay quite pert when you get old. Mine are heading south quite dramatically now in my fifties.
I am really hoping they will get smaller after menopause finishes although I guess them I'm going to have empty, saggy skin which is not exactly a great look either.

Mine are. I’m an 32A cup which I used to hate when younger but now I absolutely love it. They are still the same in my 50’s as they were in my 20’s.

Yeah because they are small they tend to remain perkier into later age, giving you a younger silhouette. I am mystified as to why a massive bust is pushed so much in society and so many women get breast implants. Might be sexy when young, but they are aging and hard on the body when older. You can look matronly. Younger looking clothing styles become out of reach.

I envy women the same age as me who can wear all the straight simple fashions that are in atm. There's a lot of Korean and Asian fashion influences around atm. They look ridiculous on me unless it's the ultra loose kimono style. Even my mum can wear them and look good with her B cup breasts and she's in her 60s!!😐

I've got quite a lot to lose though 😔,I'm on the waiting list for a gastric bypass so I'm hoping that when I've lost weight the boobs will go down too, although even then they will probably look like 2 potatoes in a pair of tights 😒.From puberty I've always had big boobs,my mom had them too but not as big as mine. When I was 13 and had a paperound in the early 90s the old guy who owned the papershop used to try and touch them and always made lewd remarks about my boobs, once he even put a porn mag in my paperbag which featured only big boobs. At the time I didn't comprehend how disgusting and perverted he was, especially to a 13 year old girl.
I hope your sister gets her op,her life will be so much better with normal size boobs.
I don't suppose you know where she manages to get her bras from do you?,I really can't find L cups anywhere in the UK and the ones I do find online are from USA and nearly £100 each.It would be a dream of mine to be able to buy a bra from a shop and having normal size breasts where I can shop anywhere for a bra.

I think that depends how big you are
A 28F for example isn't that big. I don't have the choice of a zip up sports bra as they don't exist in my size

Ah fair enough.
I'm 36F. It's an asda one I use and its brill. My friend actually gave me it at football as I always had one hanging out of my sports bra from running...ahh the joys

GardenGuardian · 01/08/2024 19:50

I’m wearing a 34E but turns out Booborbust says I’m a 30HH. 😬 When I think I lived in Wonderbras and extra padding all the way through uni and seriously considered a boob job in my twenties… Do they always grow in perimenopause or is there hope that they might have stopped now?

ChimpanzeeThatMonkeyNews · 01/08/2024 22:14

I'm an E cup. Is that not considered big enough for surgery?

Bigtitsbettyforgotherpassword · 01/08/2024 23:08

There’s an AMA thread about breast reductions if anyone would like to ask questions about reductions. I think this is our third thread now because as well as asking an answering questions it’s become a diary for many of us.
I had a reduction three years ago, going from a 32/34 GG/H to a 34DD/E. I’m still big busted but now it’s just nice boobs. During the reduction the surgeon does an augmentation so the breasts are lifted and pert. It makes a massive difference.

To those people saying it’s available on the NHS, the criteria is so strict that it’s almost impossible. In my local area it’s BMI <25 monitored medically for over a year, must have back pain that needs physio and also needs CBT to see if that helps instead, both for at least a year. I don’t understand how CBT will make my clothes fit. I had to pay £8000 but it was definitely worth it.
To those people saying I’d love bigger boobs, yes you probably would, but probably not so big that £45 on a bra is normal, not so big that you can’t fold your arms, not so big that men talk to them, not so big that you can’t buy button up fronts clothes, or buy a bikinI or a dress because your top Half is 4 sizes bigger than your bottom.

Yanbu, I’m slowly saving up to get a reduction. My back and neck constantly hurt and I hate how they make my clothes fit.

Crikeyalmighty · 01/08/2024 23:42

I totally sympathise

Redgreenfroggy · 02/08/2024 00:30

36f-
loved them when I was young but now they are sagging. My DH can’t get enough of them though still so he thinks they are ok.

Did you consider before posting this that this might not be the thread for you to talk about your pert bust? 😂

Kick us while we're down, @Sorren! 😉

Hunglikeapolevaulter · 08/08/2024 20:43

I would love to have tiny breasts that don't need a bra. Love it.
I wouldn't consider surgery as my boobs aren't mega massive or anything so I dont get back pain and thus the risk of scarring, numbness and complications isn't worth it but how I'd love to have a tiny bust that never gets in the way and doesn't wind up sagging.

Abigail47 · 08/08/2024 20:44

Big breasts are very heavy. I held one of mine in one hand. It weighed a ton
