Big breasts suck

AIBU in being absolutely fed up with my big saggy breastfeeding boobs?! I absolutely hate when I see influencers or women in real life moaning (boasting) about being a member of the “itty bitty titty committee” when surely everyone knows they look better in clothes, don’t have to deal with huge, industrial bras, and back ache, and looking fat because of your chest.
How I envy woman who miraculously escape pregnancy and breastfeed with a small chest!

Yeah. Finding nice dresses & tops can be a pain

I’ve even started wearing sleep bras for comfort & now wear them around the house under a baggy top

Mumof1andacat · 30/07/2024 22:01

I'm here for this. Currently in a 38h.i'm only 5ft. Yes I know I need to loose weight but when I weighed 8.5 stone I still filled a D cup. I was filling a B/C cup in year 7. I just look all boob. It looks 'unfashionable' and having big boob's ages me.

JoJothegerbil · 30/07/2024 22:04

I'm with you. 36H and I hate them. I'm a bit fat at the moment, but even when I lose weight my boobs still stubbornly refuse to get smaller. If I could afford a reduction, I'd have it done tomorrow.

Serencwtch · 30/07/2024 22:06

I hated my small boobs when I was a teenager but now I just think thank God as I can't think of anything worse. Never needed to wear anything more than a crop vest & even pregnant & breast feeding they never got in the way or got sweaty or made my back/neck ache etc
Wish I could go back & tell my teenage self how lucky I was.

I have small boobs and I don't like it.
I've got the small boob gap, I live in padded bras.
It affects my confidence
I can't wear a sports bra at the gym without wearing a padded bra under it which is really uncomfortable.
I'd be happy to take some of your chest 🤭💕

DysonSphere · 30/07/2024 22:15

I'd get mine reduced tomorrow if I could afford it!

I'm 32- 34 G. I used to be a pear shape, now I look ridiculous where my bust is sometimes wider looking than my hips. They spoil the silhouette of my clothes. I look with envy at all the pin tuck vintage and bridgerton inspired dresses. My breasts ruin the former and are extremely exposed in the latter. Bras are £££ and straps hurt.

The thing is when you're young you want bigger boobs. But when you're older smaller higher boobs actually make you appear younger.

I agree with the previous poster regarding corsets. They lift breasts up from the bottom and support the back rather than relying on straps on the shoulder. I only realised this recently and wish someone had properly explained the advantage of them instead of seeing them as antiquated.

WallSplash · 30/07/2024 22:16

I like mine. 38E and I’m generally quite curvy so I feel they’re proportionate. I’m 5’ 11” so think that helps as I’m not overly top heavy looking.

nameynamenamenamename · 30/07/2024 22:17

Yes, I hate them.

Previously I could just about put up with them with a good bra, because I was fortunate that they were still relatively high, but the moment I hit 50 it was as if they melted. Almost overnight they just have no structural integrity.

I can now only wear Molke bras. I have to wear a sleep bra. And I always, always have irritated skin. Red underneath and just itchy all over the rest (tried various creams and medications).

If I would afford it I would get a reduction, but not sure if my health is good enough for it either.

Rainbowx · 30/07/2024 22:21

God yes at 5ft 2 with 38 GG/H boobs I'm dream of a reduction!

SwordToFlamethrower · 30/07/2024 22:33

I have a total breakdown about my breasts every now and then. I hate them. They're odd sized, 32G, heavy, sweaty and painful with the back ache.

Sick to death of being told to get a "well fitted bra." STFU. At 47 year old, don't you think I've tried everything? Nothing fits well by the end of the day. All bras cut in and cause pain.

Sick to death of being told having small tits is worse than having big tits. Oh really? Oh, don't forget to laugh and say you'll swap me. SO FUNNY.

Clothes don't fit, I'm always looking fat, exercising is harder, unwanted sexual attention, people presuming I'm stupid or up for it.

Oh and here's the killer - I don't have pleasurable sensations. Only a kind of numbness and pain.

Get a reduction? Oh sure. I've been to my GP before and been belittled. Even my therapist had to apologise to me because she has the opposite problem and was triggered by my moaning about big boobs.

Big boobs are absolute hell to live with.

MonsteraMama · 30/07/2024 21:56

Amen sister. The day I rolled over in bed and my tits clapped loud enough to wake my husband was the day I decided to get a reduction and a lift 🙃

😂😂😂 This made me laugh out loud! My boobs haven’t clapped in a while but always wear one of those crop style comfort bras now, even to sleep to stop myself from waking everyone up

I’m glad this thread has had such a positive - well negative - response! I thought I might get told to stop moaning and embrace them but it appears a lot of us feel the same way about our breasts. I’m happy and very blessed that they are healthy and I’ve been able to breastfeed of course, but as previous posters have mentioned dressing them and how uncomfortable they are in this heat in particular led me to this little rant! I'm only a size 6/8 so I just look top heavy and no clothes for my size are made for my size chest. Today I wore a summer dress with such a small boob area it kind of smushed them underneath and further south giving me the oddest shape!

WatchOutWatchOut · 30/07/2024 23:17

I'm so depressed about my huge menopause boobs. I used to have boobs like Kanye West's partner, but post menopause they've spread across my chest and I look like Les Dawson's Cissie character. Nothing looks good on me anymore and I'm so self conscious. They're also really uncomfortable and impractical. I can't live the next (potentially) 30 years like this so I will have to consider surgical options.

frecklemcspeckles · 30/07/2024 23:20

Op I couldnt agree more. I was in the same situation from my teenage years to mid twenties and I was miserable. Back ache, troubke exercising, clothes not fitting unless bravissimo, hard to find bras and just feeling awful in work where I was trying not to be all top heavy.
Had a breast reduction to a D Cup in my mid twenties... Was the best thing I ever did. I'll be eternally grateful for my parents paying for it as at the time I could not. It absolutely changed my life. I could breathe, I could focus on life without pain, I could exercise without pain, discomfort and sweat.

My only regret is I didn't do it before my wedding as a comment that had lived in my head rent free was from a guest who said "ah I see you went the medieval heaving bossums theme" and I was distraught as I thought I looked well in my coresetted dress. Still upsets me now Tha people thought that was my "look" or theme.

UnfriendMe · 30/07/2024 23:38

Buddysbunda · 30/07/2024 21:06

I've been moaning about my lack of boobs today. I bought a dress for a fancy wedding that is perfect, hugs me in all the right places but gapes massively at the top. I'd need boobs 3x the size to fill it out. I wasn't boasting just genuinely annoyed that after weeks of looking for a dress I liked my lack of boobs has ruined the perfect dress.

Overall though I agree with you, my teenager was asking me today if I'd ever have a boob job on the back of a discussion about the dress and I said it's not something I would ever consider. I'm slim, I have small boobs, they suit my frame and them being small isn't something I ever really think about or that troubles me.

Have you tried These? I have a pretty good sized chest, full c/d , but there make me look like I have porn star boobs.

curious79 · 30/07/2024 23:47

My boobs were enormous after pregnancy (went from 34D to 34H).
looked terrible and made me look huge, plus generally uncomfortable
I had risk reducing surgery and with it went down in size. Massive relief

JustGotToKeepOnKeepingOn · 31/07/2024 07:27

I hear you! 32 H here and they are so difficult to dress! There is 1 bra in bravissimo that fits me. So I have the same boring bra year in year out... just in different colours.

Contrary to PPs beliefs, being big breasted doesn't mean you can breastfeed! I had zero milk. Which really added insult to injury. Carrying huge boobs around that don't even work!

It's easy to say 'embrace your body' but when you can't get any clothes to fit it can be hard to be pleased about your bust size.

Fed up of clothes that fit everywhere except my bust. Fed up of having to pay ££ for bras and swimwear that fits. And totally fed up of the current fashion of dresses which look like a toddler's dress - which don't fit or look good on anyone above an A cup!

Judellie · 31/07/2024 07:33

Not just me then!
I wish Bravissimo had continued their range of dresses, they're the only thing that looks good on me, as I'm very small with enormous boobs. Unfortunately, I only ever bought one.
The Bravissimo bras don't really fit me properly tho. Finding one that does is a nightmare (34H). May look into the corset idea.

RickyGervaislovesdogs · 31/07/2024 07:38

36D and they feel bad enough in this heat, so I don’t envy those with larger sizes. 🥵

ClockworkDisaster · 31/07/2024 07:47

Yep I’m with you too. Mine are a 42H and so annoying. I’m sure they are one of the main contributors to my weight gain as I went from a very active child to an extremely self conscious embarrassed child who darent run any more in case she knocked herself out with them 😳😆 when I did run I used to hold onto my top to keep them from wobbling about too much.

Now I have discovered a ‘Boobuddy’ which makes a massive difference - straps them down and keeps them in place. It’s not ideal though or comfortable for long. I’d love a reduction.

Oldernotwiser44 · 31/07/2024 07:57

I love my 36GG boobs and would not change them. I love the curvy shape they give my figure (with the help of a supportive bra of course!)
I’m also fortunate to have never experienced back pain from them. They have also fed my babies successfully.

Appalonia · 31/07/2024 08:03

I hear you! Constant back pain, so difficult to find clothes that fit properly, difficulty in exercising, feeling self conscious, sometimes it actually feels like a disability. Even when I lose weight they don't reduce. I m not in proportion as I have slim hips so I look top heavy. Always have to be thinking about them. If I had the money I'd definitely get a reduction!

Summerdew · 31/07/2024 08:07

One year tomorrow from my reduction, without a doubt the BEST thing I ever did. I feel for you all, there’s a few great AMA threads on this with some fantastic support and contributions. If there is any way you can get healthy enough for it and save for it then do it. And to PP saying be grateful some women can’t breastfeed and some get cancer, yes that’s true but it doesn’t mean you have to be happy with carrying the weight of a small hippo on your chest everyday. I now have glorious boobs, not tiny, not even the best shape and they obviously have some scars (from the reduction and previous breast cancer surgery) but they are so much better and suit my frame so much more. Oh and people now speak to me not to my tits which is an added bonus.

DogDaysNeverEnd · 31/07/2024 08:08

Same here (32F). I was bemoaning boobs to a friend yesterday, how I look like a ship in full sail if I buy something that fits on top. It doesn't help that tailored clothes aren't widely available anymore.

I died when I saw a photo of a recent lunch out, thought I was wearing something that dialled the girls down a notch but no, looked like volleyballs stuck to my chest.

Freya bras are my go to, but does anyone have recommendations for corsets? I'd givth it a try if it works but when I google I seem to just find the Ann Summers raunchy flimsy things...

mrssunshinexxx · 31/07/2024 08:09
