on holiday at the mo and I cant even count the number of times I have seen topless women sunbathing at the beach… next to kids!…on non-nudist beach!

on top of that I don’t fancy my teenage boys or even my DH having a look at them either

Presumably it is considered to be legal and socially acceptable wherever you are on holiday, because there are so many people doing it.

So if you don't want to see it, the solution is to go to a different country where this is not legal and/or avoid going to the beach altogether.

Unfortunately for you, you not wanting to "accept it" has no bearing on the rights of these women to do whatever they choose. Of course, if you have made a point of choosing a country where it is illegal for women to go topless on the beach, by all means, report the matter to the relevant authorities and I'm sure that appropriate action will be taken.

When I was a kid we holidayed in France and Spain a lot. Loads of topless women, including my mum. Us kids didn't bat an eyelid, it was just the done thing. How wonderful women have the right to go topless on the beach, the same as the men can, theres nothing wrong with it all so just enjoy your holiday and stop being such a prude.

Topless sunbathing is very common in Europe, though sadly not as common as it used to be. Prudery of people like the OP inhibits others, though I will continue the practice because there is no feeling like the freedom of being as unclothed as you can. I thought the days of pearl clutching on this issue ended in 1959.

I've lived in various European countries and really can't get worked up about tits being out. I was mildly shocked at accidentally walking through the nudist part of the beach in Portugal though and seeing lots of elderly/middle aged German men playing frisbee (genitalia out and bouncing 😄) when I was 14.
