on holiday at the mo and I cant even count the number of times I have seen topless women sunbathing at the beach… next to kids!…on non-nudist beach!

I really don’t want to see titties out in the middle of the day

on top of that I don’t fancy my teenage boys or even my DH having a look at them either

its obvious they’re coming from certain European countries ! Do they have no sense of what’s right or wrong ?

you sound like a religious fundamentalist (of any creed). Maybe do some self reflection on why you’re so affected by visible body parts? Is it because they can only be sexual to you, rather than just bits of bodies like arms, having many functions? Is it because you’re insecure? Why is it wrong for children to see their mothers’ breasts? Actually ask yourself some questions instead of freaking out.

I think all the women saying 'they are just boobs' or 'it's just a random normal body part' are straight, and have no idea how alluring most naked boobs actually are to those attracted to women.

I grew up being taken to naturist beaches so it was normal to me. Still alluring.

Breasts are for feeding babies with. They are not the equivalent to genitals so unless these women are lounging on the beach with their vulvas out then there is no comparison.

About 10 years ago I was breasfeeeding baby Ds on a beach in one of those little sun tents but I was sitting just at the entrance. The woman from the family sitting very near to us stomped over and said ‘I’m ZIPPING this UP! THAT is something you do in private !’ And she started zipping me in😂😂😂😂 I just slowly unzipped it and moved to be sitting just outside the tent and finished the feed off. She was absolutely fuming , her husband was smirking it was bizarre !

I'm more concerned about the amount of kids that are strutting about naked rather than a pair of grown women's tits. The amount of naked kids wandering around on the beach when I was on holiday was absolutely disgusting. Some around 8 aswell fully naked. Vile.

No, you don't have to accept it. You can go elsewhere.

I don’t like seeing it (I accept this is my own English socialisation and not anyone else’s problem. Although I also dislike seeing men topless) and I don’t think you’re wrong, per se, to not want to see it. Culturally, Britain is generally less comfortable with nudity.

But other cultures are, and that isn’t inherently any worse. Breasts aren’t genitals – they aren’t innately sexual. I don’t go to the beach because I don’t like it for non-breast related reasons, but I’m sure you can avoid looking to some extent. If you’re going to holiday somewhere where topless sunbathing is usual, you’re going to have to put up with it.

And you can’t control what your sons or husband think about it. They’re going to see attractive women all over the place. I’m sympathetic to feelings of jealousy, but dwelling on it is where madness lies. You need to trust your husband, not expect other women to change to accomodate your insecurity (if that is the issue).

No, I don't think we are underestimating how alluring they are, we are just pointing out that that is in no way our problem and it doesn't need to affect our freedoms. If you (or any other pathetic lech) can't exist in the presence of women's bodies without being troubled by intrusive thoughts, that's wholly a you problem, and you should probably just avoid beaches altogether 🤷🏻‍♀️

I get it might be a little uncomfortable but don't you think it's good for your son's to see some real life boobs opposed to the fake ones they are likely to have seen/ may in the future see in porn?
