on holiday at the mo and I cant even count the number of times I have seen topless women sunbathing at the beach… next to kids!…on non-nudist beach!

I really don’t want to see titties out in the middle of the day

on top of that I don’t fancy my teenage boys or even my DH having a look at them either

its obvious they’re coming from certain European countries ! Do they have no sense of what’s right or wrong ?

It's all very well saying we shouldn't sexualise breasts, but that horse has already bolted. If anyone thinks that their own DH doesn't see their breasts (and the breasts of OW) as sexual, then I think you're kidding yourself.

Many locals won't go topless abroad, mostly tourists that do. True in Greece from.my experience. Funny that in the UK it's not against the law to go topless on beaches, but I'd be staggered to see Janet from down the road on the beach in Padstow, walking topless along the shoreline. I don't think Janet would do that in Blackpool either. Possibly on a UK nudest beach though.

You've gone to a country where this is normal behaviour, no one is 'forcing' it in on you, it's a societal norm that you are not comfortable with. I'd suggest in future maybe researching where you're going on holiday, if this offends you. Maybe try Dubai if you'd like a good cover up at the beach?

If you are in Europe on holiday as a non European family then I don’t think anyone on that beach should give a flying fuck about what you think of their boobs out ON THE BEACH!

Breasts are not genitals! You can’t compare them to genitals. They aren’t ‘private’ unless someone wishes to keep them so- but that’s not for you to decide. And no people might not get them out in the office but neither would you put on a swimsuit in the office either. There are ways to dress appropriately for the situation and the beach is probably the last place you’d expect someone to cover up. Don’t tell me you are anti breastfeeding in public too? Heaven forbid a mother show her sexual titties in public when feeding her baby (what they are designed for!).

OP, so you are complaining about people on a public beach, in swimwear, both sexes, with their pants on?? They do so in a public area because it is acceptable in public.

l regularly go topless at the beach. I don’t do so in the office, but there again, l don’t wear 2 pieces of a bikini or a one piece swimsuit in the office either.

You need to change your holiday destination.

I was at Hayling Island last year and there were loads of topless ladies. Mostly, older women.

No one is saying breasts are not sexualised, but there are times in life when they need not be.

Breastfeeding, for example, suffers from the sexualisation of breasts. People are offended about breastfeeding in public, breastfeeding uncovered or breastfeeding over 6 months old. This is all due to the sexualisation of breasts and an indication that it’s gone too far.

Quite a lot of kids have recently been exposed to seeing a fair bit of tit within the past few years of their lives I imagine. Does that outrage you too?

May I suggest that YOU take responsibility for YOUR "culture" and only holiday where topless sunbathing is banned and leave the rest of the world (and almost entirety of Europe) to rest of us who don't share it

In answer to one of you rants @TittiesOutPutThemBack yes I am the mother of a teenage girl - youngest of 3 at almost 16. This time last week we were on a beach in the Canary Islands with many topless women, she handled it more maturely than you - she didn’t bat an eyelid or comment- just got on with swimming and sunbathing!

I loved a bit of skinny dipping in my youth - wouldn’t recommend it at night though, in a fully lit pool on a mountain side in the middle of nowhere - dove in feeling wonderful and emerged covered in moths!
