I used to drive through Harehills on my way to and from work - it was eye opening in so many ways.

I’m not sure the people taking part in this have an ‘end goal’. They are unqualified, poor and jaded. Harehills is one of the most deprived parts of Leeds, and probably this whole country. There have likely been escalated tensions, and they had nothing to lose by engaging in criminal behaviour.

Oh well I guess that makes it ok then.

No, it means you have to have robust strategies to tackle all these things if you don't want your cities on fire.

Something just sparks it off and the riot breaks out. People are mad and then just use it as a way to take out their aggression and don’t even know what the riot is about I’d say.
