I can’t remember Sad

Does anyone else feel like the country/world/whatever has lost its sense of humour? I feel like everything used to be more of a laugh.

My kids make me laugh every day if not multiple times, sometimes unintentionally. They do the most bizarre, unexpected things.

A real uncontrolled laughing fit where the tears start to fall? About 3 years ago when my grandson and I rented a pedal-car thing at a caravan site - I thought I might wet myself. Every day? Just a giggle really, if im lucky, not much worth laughing about atm.

Every day! But I think it's one of those things that if you really love a laugh then you'll seek one out - my friends and I share memes all the time, my DH and I goof around, I watch comedies on TV/YouTube pretty much every day. Humour was important in my family growing up, lots of patter so we all know what makes each other tickle really well and can properly make each other laugh.

I keep thinking about this one Mumsnet thread from years ago where OP was saying that her and her DH don't believe in jokes, think it's juvenile, and that she's too clever/intellectual to enjoy making jokes 😂 Meanwhile, the cleverest and happiest people I know are the ones who can make me laugh the hardest!

In fact, two mornings ago I woke up laughing because of the dream I was having!

Watching Scrubs.

It's one of my comfort shows. I've seen it countless times and it always makes me belly laugh

I laugh almost every day these days as my 3 year old is hilarious! It's lovely to be laughing so much. Think the last time I laughed so easily was when I was on the school bus with a friend, we used to crack eachother up to the point we were silent laughing and crying. Over 20 years ago now!

That actually really hurts when you laugh like that.

About an hour ago, me and DH were trying to go to bed and the kids wouldnt leave the room. I suggested loudly to DH we have a good snog sesh and couldnt srop laughing about how quickly they fled, was hilarious, did not know the 20 year old could move that fast 😂

@Rainbowsponge the idea that you have to stop laughing because your an adult is a bit depressing. Also not true.
