Schoolgirls spiked my daughter’s drink with laxatives.

This is more of a WWYD I guess.

My daughter has been bullied recently at school, some physical, some verbal and this week the bullies poured laxatives into her water bottle at lunchtime and I had to leave work to collect her.

I’ve not heard anything more from the school or the parents and the children are still in school.

I’m interested to hear what you think and what you would do in this situation as this is not acceptable.

You seem to have tried to model yourself as some sort of Katie Hopkins tribute act.

If you're ever surrounded by people forcing you take laxatives against your will, I hope you still have this mindset.

So a 12-year-old girl got the squits because another 12-year-old girl gave her a laxative. That's just one of dozens of times she'll have the shits in her life. And you don't think the police have more important crimes to solve🙄

As others have pointed out, being forced to take too many laxatives can have much more serious consequences than that, never mind the trauma of being surrounded by a group of thugs (no matter their age).

Either you're a troll or completely lacking in both common sense and empathy.

I always forget that there are people in the world who are genuinely this stupid! 😂 I can't work out if you're actually this dumb or just a troll.

The post claims, "Schoolgirls spiked my daughter’s drink"

If it was spiked (as the headline states), then no one was "forced" to drink it because "spiking" is done without the drinker's knowledge.

If someone was forced to 'take too many laxatives,' as you say, then that does not constitute "spiking".

So which is it?

You're either a total bully yourself or just being goady because you have no life and nothing better to do.

I have never been more hopeful that someone on this site was not in fact a mum, or a dad for that matter. We can’t risk this kind of stupidity being passed on to the next generation.

Why don’t you go poison someone and then tell the police it was “just a prank.”

This guy knows all about the real world. He can see it from his mother’s basement.

School holidays are starting, expect more trolling.

Hope you can get some support Hun

also OP hasn’t said her daughter shit her pants @Serendipityandmore

Violinist64 · 19/07/2024 11:58

The fact that the police have taken an equally dim view of this bullying and are taking it seriously by calling it the assault that is shows that it is far worse than a schoolgirl prank that went wrong. This poor girl was defenceless against this group of bullies who forced her to drink water laced with laxatives. Not only was this horrible and degrading to the victim, it was potentially very dangerous. OP, please let your daughter know of the overwhelming support here and that we all hope that she is feeling better now.

I would also worry that the bullies/offenders are on a trajectory to spiking people with drugs and hope that an intervention by the police at this point could prevent them offending in the future and protect their future victims from harm.

People that spike people in pubs and clubs/parties etc start somewhere.

Nah, I’m calling bullshit. Legitimately, nobody is actually this dense in real life.

Doesn’t make any difference how many times she has the ‘squits’ in her life, if she was forced to drink it and became unwell as a result then it absolutely should be reported to the police.

So it's all about semantics for you then? Incorrect use of the word spiked.

I seriously think you're missing the point somehow.

JFDIYOLO · 20/07/2024 11:12

The girl who murdered Brianna Ghey had been moved schools for trying to poison other children.

This kind of behaviour can escalate.

Young minds that can collude, plot and plan to carry out a deliberate act of bullying, coercion and poisoning with the intent to cause suffering and humiliation at any degree need an intervention.

And the parents whose daughters could do that need a sharp dose of reality.

This MUST be treated as an assault and dealt with appropriately.

I don't believe expulsion / exclusion is the way to go; that might only push them further away from acceptable behaviour. I believe in education, and a robust effective anti bullying policy.

The girls who did it also need help to stop them going down a horrific future path.

And I hope your daughter will be able to get support with dealing with what they did to her. If that means private therapy, then the parents should pay.

CoraPirbright · 20/07/2024 11:23

So glad the police are taking this seriously. Well done for reporting OP and I hope that your daughter takes heart from the fact that the police are firmly on her side. Hope it really scares these little shits but, from how they are already bullying and behaving appallingly, I would be willing to bet that they are the brazen kind of thugs who come from a background who dont give a toss about the law or any kind of decent behaviour. You can already hear their parents backing them up no matter what. I really despair.

💐 for you and your daughter.
