Who is Larry the cat’s family?

Just seen mention of Larry the cat making an appearance for the first cabinet meeting. But… does someone live and sleep there continuously with him? Does he have a family? Is he a lone ranger, does he live independently? What’s the deal?

His family will consist of other felines... He's such a chilled out cutie.

Here are my 2 cats, you will notice the knocked down frame. My ginger boy knocked it over and ran away scared from it and blamed me! Obviously. 🥰🙄😂

Do they get on? I had a ginger and a black cat and they didn’t like each other. Actually none of our cats ever really liked each other ☹️.

They do, they groom each other. Both rescues, black cat Minx was a kitten and is our hunter and Gizmo, our ginger boy was one year old and so scared of everything, still wary 6 years later, but will snuggle me. Giz will hunt moths and will be adventurous from 11pm-2am. They do still chase each other round too. Love their bonkersness. 🥰🥰

I think it is more to do with security than privilege.

Yeah, you can't exactly prop the door open whilst the paint dries. Larry might like that, although he could leave cat hair in the wet paint.

Didn't Blue Peter used to do this in their garden years ago when their animals died? I remember Jason the BP Siamese dying when I was four, he was almost as famous as Larry.
