www.findjackosullivan.co.uk/

It is now over 100 days since 23-year-old Jack O'Sullivan went missing on March 2nd 2024, following a night out in Hotwells, Bristol.

Jack, having attempted to get a taxi home, was last seen on CCTV on the morning of March 2nd at approx. 3:40 am walking up the Bennett Way slip road heading back towards Hotwells.

Jack's phone was still active and placed him at an address at 5:40 am in the Granby Hill area.

His phone continued to be live on the network until 6:44 am.

Nothing has been seen or heard of Jack since the early hours of that morning.

I’m guessing because there’s not enough coverage and someone might just know something but not realise it.

Allofaflutter · 02/07/2024 11:02

I hadn’t heard of this case at all.

Lanawashington · 02/07/2024 11:04

It's awful how little coverage this has got and that the Police really haven't done very much. His poor family must be going out of their mind

I don't personally want to chat about him.

I hadn't heard of this until now so I think the thread is a good idea.

MeinKraft · 02/07/2024 11:06

The map on the page and the CCTV places him directly on a waterside doesn't it? When people go missing near rivers it seems inevitable really that they've fallen in. Awful for his family, never knowing Flowers

It's so sad.

As parent of a young lad the same age it's utterly terrifying.

This website is so clear.
It's excellent
This should be standard

His family are trying to raise as much awareness as possible. He was walking on a route along a busy road so they are desperate for any dashcam footage or sightings. Anything that can jog people's memory is a good thing

It has barely even made it to the news. BBC last wrote about Jack on 14th May and nothing since

BrigadierEtienneGerard · 02/07/2024 11:07

There's a similar case here in Berkshire. Not a word in the media.

We live very close to the area and there are so many posters around - it's so sad. There is a lot of awareness locally but I haven't seen anything nationally. Any information that can help his poor family is a positive.

It’s not thoughtless or insensitive. It’s spreading the word. I live in this area and my dd knows a member of his family. The more publicity, the better.

He has seemingly vanished into thin air. Somebody must know something.

Soundsofjoy · 02/07/2024 11:09

I’m sorry to hear this. Do missing men generally get less coverage in the media than missing women? I haven’t heard about this at all but it’s confusing that the media report more heavily on some cases than others.

😢 Heart breaking. Can you post any info on here to spread awareness?

A lot of his last movements are near the water, but it’s not really a place where you would fall in. You’d have to be pushed/lifted somehow.

plus the place where is phone last pinged isn’t next to the water.

so much just doesn’t make sense

username47985 · 02/07/2024 11:21

I also had not heard of this case. I find it awful how some cases get so much coverage and some get none.

Hopefully this link works, or at least takes people to the right page. They have reconstructed Jack's journey up until CCTV lost sight of him. Anything that jogs peoples memories is so important

I hadn't heard about this either, and I think it's a good idea to raise awareness.
His poor family must be very distressed.

mitogoshi · 02/07/2024 11:29

There's posters everywhere now, even where I live 10 miles away. They were asking everyone here to check their ring doorbells (the bus from there goes here). Hard to imagine what happened

AutumnCrow · 02/07/2024 11:30

If it were my son, I'd want awareness and publicity too. Anything to get a missing piece of information.

DontThinkJustDo · 02/07/2024 11:32

It's awful how so many people just seem to disappear into thin air. Their poor families just hanging without answers.
