if I'm in danger, I'm going to save myself.

and toxic men are usually the danger that women face

Save yourself don’t make me laugh. You need a man to save you from an aggressive man and that man needs to be aggressive also. Not rocket science but if your happy letting your boyfriend cower behind you when the intruder comes that’s cool hahaha

JasmineTea11 · 30/06/2024 12:04

haveatye · 30/06/2024 10:23

That's like saying I'm sick of pasta and potatoes, I'm going to rub my face in shit instead

Brilliant. I was trying to think of something to say, but I can't improve on that.

Zinzinner · 30/06/2024 12:05

Yes YABU. They don’t even have any policies.

katseyes7 · 30/06/2024 12:05

I heard someone at work saying they've decided to vote for Reform.
The same person l heard a while ago complaining about "fucking foreigners buying pregnancy tests."
I don't think l need to explain that.

Do you believe that the people coming over in small boats are asylum seekers?

In most cases, yes. But that’s irrelevant. The people coming over in small boats are a tiny fraction of immigration.

This attitude says so much about you that you think violence is the answer.

Hayliebells · 30/06/2024 12:06

All the racism and support for Andrew Tate, Russia etc, is a bit of a turn-off, no?

Zinzinner · 30/06/2024 12:07

Shortfatsuit · 30/06/2024 10:28

There are other options available. Why would you pick the racist, misogynist, homophobic party?

Because they are probably racist, homophobic and misogynistic.

Marmunia10667 · 30/06/2024 12:00

I'll be voting Reform.

Are you still living in NI? I thought Reform weren't standing there,?

Eta: ah, I see they aren't standing their own candidates, but have an alliance with the TUV.

GETTINGLIKEMYMOTHER · 30/06/2024 12:09

I find Farage almost as repulsive, physically and politically, as Trump, so I’d be infinitely more likely to vote for a Monster Raving Loony candidate. Which I actually did once, when I was disgusted with the whole sorry lot of them, but would never not vote.

SomersetBrie · 30/06/2024 12:09

Those voting Reform because of immigration, how do you think that Reform is going to stop immigration?

It’s funny because your liberal socialist kind are happy until you run out of other peoples money. The world doesn’t run on kindness and compassion. People have to work to make society function and if you have a large population of newcomers who are unable to work coming with their dependants. 4.3 million people in last few years is it a wonder why people are not able to get appointments all over the country. Tel you what fine let’s take the current situation to its logical conclusion what do you think people who have been claiming government assistance will vote for in future more of the same? Once the tipping point is reached which I would argue already has with not enough homes being built children not being able to afford to get on housing ladder. No dentists access at all up and down country. Crime increases strangely mostly around high illega migrant population areas. Btw this is before you mention that the new arrivals in 3 years have been 90% single men. You keep voting with your feelings and watch what happens to the country.

I don't think it is as easy as blaming others that migrate here. I would argue that some of the issues you raise are down to stripping back of public services to it's bones and mismanagement of public money. There are plenty of british-born people on government assistance. I don't know what the answer is but I'm not sure it is just 'keep 'em out'.

StaunchMomma · 30/06/2024 12:10

Yes. Anyone who votes Reform is BU, in my eyes.

We all know what they are. They don't even bother hiding it.

Farage is a scumbag of Trumpian proportion and those comments this week from the Reform candidate calling Sunak a p*ki and saying the army should shoot refugees in the water!!!

Utterly vile but not at all surprising. This is what they, and people like them, really think.

Honestly, they make me so ashamed of this country.

bold of you to assume theres any thinking going on.

Gosh the Russian bots are out in force today! Sorry, I mean the ‘reform supporters’ of course..

This should be on an official document somewhere 😄

Shakeoffyourchains · 30/06/2024 12:13

Vote for whoever you want but probably best to keep it to yourself.

When you tell somone you're voting for reform it makes them aware that you're somewhere on the scale of 'incabable of independent thought to raging bigot' and are best avoided.

kiwipolish · 30/06/2024 12:15

I'm voting for Reform. It's the only choice I have.

Oh they do have some great staff, and I do not think they are a right wing organisation either. But their over-exposure of Farage and Johnson over the last 15 or so years proves they are not left wing (and certainly not ultra left) as previously claimed.

I agree, as they’re not just left wing nor are they just right wing - they’re neither. They do their best to represent both sides. They definitely don’t always get that right, but the intention is definitely there, and they generally do it well.

Yes, people blaming outsiders coming to this country always conveniently ignore the fact that Brits move elsewhere too (but as ‘ex pats’ of course, totally different!); that the share of profits going to workers has dropped massively since the 1950s, so that the wealthy can have more wealth to hoard; that Thatcher’s sell off of council housing and various governments allowing dirty money to flood parts of the housing market have pushed up house prices and rents to astronomical levels; and that the Tory government has shafted the NHS and other public services.
