Their leader has made it very clear he sees Andrew Tate as a good role model for boys. That’s the Andrew Tate who is being prosecuted for rape and people trafficking and says that women should be the property of men and kept at home with no possessions. That’s who Farage likes as a role model for our boys.

Farage has also talked about blokes being allowed to be blokes and he has expressed support for Putin and Trump.

Party members have been recorded saying explicitly racist things.

His plans for the NHS are to make him and his mates money by selling it off to American companies.

He doesn’t care about anyone but himself, Brexit was about lining his mates pockets (I haven’t forgotten you Aaron Banks and what you did). He is only using immigration as a dog whistle to further his own cause.

The problem with people gaining more and more influence is they feel they need to have an opinion on everything, even things they don't know anything about. What Farage said about Ukraine was utterly stupid and ignorant. That's why I can't vote for him, because what's going on in Ukraine is too important for me for personal and family reasons.

However, I don't think the fact that Farage once said something positive about Andrew Tate equates to "REFORM SUPPORT ANDREW TATE". Diane Abbot has praised Mao Zedong, that doesn't mean the whole party endorse mass murder. Jeremy Corbyn expressed sympathy with Hamas while leader of Labour, but I never thought the whole party were just blood-thirsty anti-Semites.

As for supporting Trump, that's not shocking at all. He was the democratically-elected President of a country with which we have close ties. I don't like Trump. I also think the likes of Jacinda Arden and Justin Trudeau are guilty of much, much worse than Trump was, but many foreign leaders supported and praised them. I would be more concerned with a leader who is buddy-buddy with Trudeau than with Trump, because Trudeau's policy's have actually been reprehensible and deathly in my opinion.

I completely agree with his plans for the NHS and I'm not America-phobic. I also think that privatisation generally works much better than nationalising.

TizerorFizz · 30/06/2024 18:59

They don’t: that’s why we rowed about Brexit and Cameron had the referendum and Teresa May struggled. Blair struggled at times and had Prescott as enforcer. Thatcher was brought down by her own MPs . Thats why the Cons are struggling with immigration. Labour used to struggle with Militant. When factions don’t agree, they make trouble. Always have and always will.

Well, since Labour don't know what a woman is, a vote for them is a vote for men only.

Oh, okay
I think you'll find that much more than half the country will vote Labour.

He said that Andrew Tate is a good role model for boys. He said blokes should feel able to be blokes. That’s enough for me as a woman and a mother to want him as far away from the PM role as possible.

He has always worked closely with Russian businessmen. He rates Putin and Trump highly.

He has a history of lying to manipulate the public for his own gain.

justasking111 · 30/06/2024 19:05

The Tories deserve to be wiped out. Their lack of loyalty to their ministers. Their lack of loyalty to their constituents. Their lack of grey matter. Their greed every man for himself.

I’ve seen the impact of contracting statutory services out to private businesses and it doesn’t lead to better services. It just resolves the state of responsibility when it goes tits up and people suffer.

Oh come on OP you know this is a deliberately inflammatory post ... are you open to admitting you're a racist??! Anyone supporting Farage and his likes are disgraceful and if you're falling for the hype then more fool you.

Encourages masculinity? Are you equating being a real man with rape and trafficking?

no he encourages misogyny and insane behaviour. there are many masculine men who are good role models for boys who don’t have a history of charges of rape and human trafficking.

masculinity isn’t a problem in itself but toxic masculinity is.

Maybe. But he definitely shows precious little respect for women. That’s not a man in my view.
Edit. Just notice you referenced ’the matrix’. FFS. No pint in talking to someone so gullible and with such ridiculous views.

First you say he hasn't been charged with anything. Confronted with the truth, you go with 'innocent until proven guilty' (fair enough). And now you have jumped into conspiracy woo with your talk about 'the matrix' and you have used the phrase 'you lefties' which automatically loses you the argument.

Well done. <slow handclap>

Most of what Farage says is utterly stupid and ignorant.

Yes, Tate talks about it. He’s a lying, arrogant bullshitter trying to justify why he’s in trouble with the law. Repeating it does not reflect well on you.

Calling groups/political parties/religious groups racist is lazy and inaccurate.

Apparently the Welsh are racist as are the Irish by that measure.

You push the tolerant silent majority too far, eventually they'll push back.

I was stunned at the push back in Europe.

AllyCart · 30/06/2024 19:23

@Flairswoo

Tate IS a good role model for millions of boys worldwide...

Absolutely appalling post.

In what way is someone exploiting women into sex work - whether criminally proven or not - a "good role model for millions of boys", FFS?

In what way is a man who rapes women and is a human trafficker 'aspirational'?

If you answer that he hasn't been found guilty, will your opinion change if he is found guilty?

Imagine when Starmer gets in and then hard left oust him and bring back Jeremy Corbyn.

Utterly chilling thought 🥶☠️

….. what

Same charges against Tristan Tate.
I don't want to be associated with a suspected rapist, but you do you.
