Labour.

Like Starmer, like their general ethos and outlook.

anonhop · 29/06/2024 20:51

Not voting.

In my area, only Labour, Tory, Lib Dem, Green & Reform.

All but Reform have certain policies/ethoses (won't say what) that I cannot stand behind due to my faith. I can't in good conscience put my name behind any of those candidates.

& I just don't want to vote Reform because I'm in a Tory-Reform close area & the Tory is a great constituency MP so I don't want to vote against him, even though I can't vote for him.

I thought about spoiling my vote but don't really see the point! I'm v interested in it & will probably stay up to watch though :)

Whothefuckdoesthat · 29/06/2024 20:52

I don’t know. I’m politically homeless. It’s less a case of having a reason to vote for them, and more a case of having a lot of reasons not to.

I cannot bring myself to vote for anyone in your list. I’ve just found out about a local independent candidate standing locally, so it’s likely to be him.

DonnaBanana · 29/06/2024 20:53

Unsure. Any vote that isn’t Tory is a vote for Labour in practice and I don’t support either. So I might spoil my ballot as at least no one can say I voted for Labour by not voting Tory.

Scottishlassie28 · 29/06/2024 20:53

I’m undecided , I’m looking in to who is going to do more regarding child poverty (Scotland)

Londonrach1 · 29/06/2024 20:54

Neither Tory or labour! Labour female rights is a huge no no and I can't vote Tory. I'm unable to vote at the moment....

Londonrach1 · 29/06/2024 20:54

First time ever

soscarlet · 29/06/2024 20:54

Lib Dem. She’s been a really good MP for local issues so I’m voting for that rather than the party. I’m a Labour voter at heart but they’d be a distant third here.

Hedjwitch · 29/06/2024 20:55

I will hold my nose and vote tactically against the SNP

Circumferences · 29/06/2024 20:57

Labour but begrudgingly.
I don't like them, but the rest are worse.

Catlover77 · 29/06/2024 21:00

Not voting. As a woman, who on earth could I vote for?

macaroniandcheeze · 29/06/2024 21:01

Labour as I live in a very Tory area and every vote counts to get them out. And I do believe that overall they will have a positive impact.
I’d love to vote Green but I don’t feel like it’s a wise move right now.

UtterlyOtterly · 29/06/2024 21:02

Literally nobody here is someone I can bring myself to vote for. We have an Independant candidate but they have previously stood in various places, no obvious connection to our area and nothing in their statement that suggests any knowledge of local issues.

I feel angry and sad, and full of despair for the way this country is going.

brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr · 29/06/2024 21:02

Labour, the only party able to take out Tories locally and I think they’re the best for public services, particularly NHS and care.

Brumchum · 29/06/2024 21:02

Labour. Because I think it will be better for my children and grandchildren. Not me necessarily.

Hungrycaterpillarsmummy · 29/06/2024 21:03

I'm voting conservative. The only party who knows what a woman is.
Also, they have triple locked pensions. Labour want to put a tax on pensions. So no. Tories for me!

curious79 · 29/06/2024 21:03

Conservative in my constituency. It's a marginal seat. Private school fee payer, think Rishi did well in the end and economically things are on up, and frankly haven't seen the plan from labour but have seen some seriously childish adverts.

Whu · 29/06/2024 21:04

Labour, reluctantly, to see off a hideous Tory.

EKnaring · 29/06/2024 21:04

I would have voted for the Green Party but was disappointed by their manifesto. As I’m expecting my first child I suppose this feels like the first GE where I’m looking very closely at where parties stand with specific things such as what may benefit families or children. Leaning more towards Labour after reading their manifesto

Fuzziduck · 29/06/2024 21:04

It will be whatever is the best tactical vote I can make against Labour.

protectoroftherealm · 29/06/2024 21:04

I'm voting for Party of Women because I believe in their message and since there will always be a Labour MP in my constituency it at least allows me to have my 'say' as futile as it may be. Will never vote Labour. If there was no PoW candidate then I would vote Conservative.

Icepop79 · 29/06/2024 21:05

Labour. I want the Tories annihilated for what they’ve done to this country. They need to be utterly humiliated on a national scale for it to sink in for them that they can not treat this country as their personal cash point machine.

FeelingHotHotHotFeelingHotHotHot · 29/06/2024 21:05

I5itm3 · 29/06/2024 20:35

Labour
Tories
Lib Dem
Green
Reform
SNP (Scotland)

And why?

Should have done a proper poll really. I am struggling ... Labour or LibDems for me.

ledfacesystem · 29/06/2024 21:05

I'm an ex-labour party member and I'll vote Labour probably as there is no other option in my area (Scotland) can't vote SNP or Green or Tory or Reform or Freedom Alliance. What I really want is a left wing party that understands what a woman is (clue, women don't have a penis Keir) but there is no option for that. Not that Labour is left wing anymore but its either tory or Labour given how our system is set up so I will probably hold my nose and vote Labour.

What is The Party Of Women?
