Tories, Indie school parent.

Thegreatgiginthesky · 29/06/2024 21:06

Lib dem becuase it is the only viable party in my area other than Tory.

OhshutupDerek · 29/06/2024 21:06

Labour.

ReallyNotTheBestDayEver · 29/06/2024 21:06

A local independent. I liked everything he stood for, whilst he was realistic, and had personalised his manifesto to the local area.

The only person I can vote for with a clear conscience

Greaterorlesser · 29/06/2024 21:07

Tory. Our MP is excellent and I want her to keep her seat

Prawncow · 29/06/2024 21:07

Labour

The Tories need to go and fascist-lite (Reform) getting seats would be horrific. I’m not going to cut off my nose to spite my face because of the trans issue.

GreyCarpet · 29/06/2024 21:07

I've decided I'm spoiling my ballot.

I won't vote Tory and I can't vote Labour. I'm certainly not going to give them my vote and have them think I'm OK with their anti woman agenda. Because I'm not.

Lib dems and Greens don't want my vote so that's an easy decision.

I'm also politically homeless.

Houseplanter · 29/06/2024 21:07

Leaning away from Tory towards Reform. In reality will either spoil or not vote

Labour would be a disaster.

ZaZathecat · 29/06/2024 21:08

Labour, with great pleasure.

ExitPursuedByABare · 29/06/2024 21:09

Tory. I’m a natural conservative but was looking to vote elsewhere but sadly no viable options. And I’m in a Labour Stronghold. Though will be interesting if Galloway’s lot make in roads.

ssd · 29/06/2024 21:09

Labour

They need a chance

CrotchetyQuaver · 29/06/2024 21:09

Hedjwitch · 29/06/2024 20:55

I will hold my nose and vote tactically against the SNP

Haha I've just been on the phone to my friend in Scotland and she's doing the same. Wants to vote for a unionist party which rules a few out. She thinks she's going to vote libdem
I live in what has a safe conservative seat in the south since forever, I'm hoping to get to a hustings tomorrow night to make my mind up about who to vote for. I've always voted conservative but don't want to this time, it's time for a change, but I don't think Starmers going to be that good a PM if I'm honest. I've not been impressed with his appearances so far. I'm bored of hearing about when he was DPP and haven't heard a lot about the future and what he'll do if/when labour win as I'm sure they will. Bit worrying IMO. And the women's spaces thing too.
Tactical voting websites are no help in my constituency, they state "not sure", so nothing to go on really.

Livinginaclock · 29/06/2024 21:10

Conservative.
I'm not happy about it, but at least they know what a woman is.
I'm a single issue voter this time, women's rights are my main concern.

Thmssngvwlsrnd · 29/06/2024 21:10

If you had asked me a month ago I would have said definitely Labour, but this whole trans / women's only spaces thing is getting to me now and I don't know who to vote for. I don't want it to be easier for a man to pretend to be a woman. I don't want men with their male genitals in the ladies toilets or changing rooms with me or my daughter. I agree with many Labour policies but I cannot agree with them on this. I really want to use my vote, but I don't see how I can. it's so frustrating.

PoopingAllTheWay · 29/06/2024 21:11

Labour - They are due a ‘shot’ in changing the country

DoreenonTill8 · 29/06/2024 21:12

This, Tory only option.

Badgerandfox227 · 29/06/2024 21:12

I think Tory. Our Tory MP has done a lot for our area and I strongly believe in women’s rights. Labour would be a disaster for women and girls.

cardibach · 29/06/2024 21:12

Hungrycaterpillarsmummy · 29/06/2024 21:03

I'm voting conservative. The only party who knows what a woman is.
Also, they have triple locked pensions. Labour want to put a tax on pensions. So no. Tories for me!

No, Labour aren't taxing pensions. It's just that because of increases in pension and the fact that personal allowances haven't increased the state pension will cross the threshold. Pensions have always been taxable. It's a Tory issue that they have become taxed in practice.

Curlewwoohoo · 29/06/2024 21:14

I want to vote Green but might do a tactical vote for Lib Dem, who I think are alright. Chap disappointed me a bit at the hustings I went to. Hope to be rid of the long standing Tory dinosaur.

Jaydafran · 29/06/2024 21:16

Theres a whole separate board for this

GreyCarpet · 29/06/2024 21:17

Livinginaclock · 29/06/2024 21:10

Conservative.

Tbh, if I were forced to vote for someone, I would too. Despite saying I won't vote Tory.

For the same reason.

I hate what they've done to the country but I don't really believe anyone else is going to significantly change the other stuff anyway.

But I can't vote for anyone who thinks any percentage of women have a penis.

KnittedCardi · 29/06/2024 21:17

Tory. Because it's a tight race here between Conservative and Lib Dems, and I just can't vote for the Lib Dems.

LakeTiticaca · 29/06/2024 21:18

Everyone should cast a vote. A spoiled paper is a wasted vote. There is no point in wasting a vote then complaining that nothing has changed

Jaydafran · 29/06/2024 21:18

Reform please. Can vote tory again after the covid idiocy and will never vote Labour
