Tory, my MP is a decent bloke, a good constituency MP.

fluffmellow · 29/06/2024 21:19

Greaterorlesser · 29/06/2024 21:07

Tory. Our MP is excellent and I want her to keep her seat

Is it Liz Truss?

GreyCarpet · 29/06/2024 21:19

Jaydafran · 29/06/2024 21:18

Reform please. Can vote tory again after the covid idiocy and will never vote Labour

Oh, yeah. So covid nonsense rules out the Tories again!

AutumnLeaves5 · 29/06/2024 21:19

Tory as she’s been an excellent constituency MP who cares about, gets involved in and fights for our local issues. And will defend women’s rights.

Very much voting for the person and not the party.

RedRobyn2021 · 29/06/2024 21:20

I've already done a postal vote and I really struggled with who to vote for, but also felt I should vote. So I voted conservative again.

RedRobyn2021 · 29/06/2024 21:20

I think I'd have voted labour for the first time if it weren't for their stance surrounding women

TheHateIsNotGood · 29/06/2024 21:20

Tactically. To get my very rich, non-representative MP out.

How're you voting OP and why?

ohfook · 29/06/2024 21:21

I'm torn - our local Labour mp has been fabulous for our area, she's been our most for as long as I can remember. I think she's fantastic and she speaks out against the party line when necessary. For example she does not support labour's stance on Gaza.

However there are aspects of the Labour manifesto that I disagree with and I think because of this I may not vote for them for the first time in my life. There's an independent guy in my constituency (habib raheem) who is ex-Labour and his ideas are definitely the best fit to my ideals and beliefs. I'm really impressed with what I've seen of him so far. I live in a Labour stronghold so it won't matter really, but I am tempted to vote for him.

Boris ruined the country with his tack.

DinnaeFashYersel · 29/06/2024 21:22

Labour

Got a chance of ousting the SNP
Locally and the Tories nationally.

And of the available options Labour is the best choice for government

👍

MissingMoominMamma · 29/06/2024 21:23

Labour, but only because our local candidate is brilliant. Starmer is bloody awful. I hope Labour are listening!!!!

TeaGinandFags · 29/06/2024 21:24

SDP

Gender critical.
Like the environment but with vavests for practicality.

Rpund her Labour rdfuse to turn up at the hustings

Churchview · 29/06/2024 21:25

Staplerandstappler · 29/06/2024 20:39

Labour.

Like Starmer, like their general ethos and outlook.

This.

AhBiscuits · 29/06/2024 21:26

Lib dem.
Their candidate is the only one in my area who is not a white, straight man or Reform. I don't vote for white, straight men as they are over represented.

CollyBobble · 29/06/2024 21:26

REFORM.

BadBarry · 29/06/2024 21:28

Conservatives, there is no better alternative in my opinion.
That's not to say I think conservatives are a good option I just think the others are worse.

RogersOrganismicProcess · 29/06/2024 21:30

I would have voted greens, but as a non-man I can’t bring myself to do it.

We do not have much choice in our constituency, I’m torn between the independent candidate or spoiling.

It is a hard no to Labour.

The conservatives have made a mess of public services and I just don’t trust them.

RishiSunak · 29/06/2024 21:30

To be honest I'm in a bit of a tizz over this. I feel it's not really cricket to vote for myself, but I can't vote for another party. I mean what if someone found out?

I think I'm going to have to "forget' my photo ID and be manhandled out of the Polling Station. That way I can't vote and I'll get loads of public sympathy. 🫰🫰🫰

xxSideshowAuntSallyxx · 29/06/2024 21:31

I'm politically homeless but I voted for the least worst candidate with a massively heavy heart. If it wasn't for the fact I have cats and elderly parents I'd move abroad.

Lovemusic82 · 29/06/2024 21:31

Lib Dem, only because locally it’s the only party that could take Tories out. I don’t really like any of them but I want Tories out so I have little choice.

NeedToChangeName · 29/06/2024 21:32

I'll be spoiling my vote

Feel politically homeless right now. No one represents my values

Farting · 29/06/2024 21:32

Reform.

LadyFeatheringt0n · 29/06/2024 21:33

Labour. Because I think it will be better for my children and grandchildren. Not me necessarily.

This.

DuesToTheDirt · 29/06/2024 21:33

Nobody.

Labour - women's rights
Tories - the many things they have done in the past 14 years
Lib Dem - women's rights
Green - women's rights
Reform - racist right-wingers
SNP (Scotland) women's rights

Oh and we have an independent - no stated position on women's rights, but they think that "climate change has always existed" and shouldn't be a priority.

Tomatina · 29/06/2024 21:35

Labour. The only party that can get the Tories out. Labour will at least aim to govern in the interests of all citizens, rather than just the richest and most privileged.
