This weather!! I could SCREAM!!

WHERE is the sun?!! It is ludicrous, I don't remember a June like this for years and I keep depressing myself with the fucking BBC weather app. They promised sunshine and warmth and now they are saying rain, rain, rain. How on earth is anyone supposed to cope? I am going to Barcelona in a few weeks, and I am counting the seconds. AARGH!

So you think it's fine for you to say 'take a cool shower' to people that can't cope with the heat, but not ok to say that to you?

This has been the worst summer in a very long time. Even last summer was better, and last summer wasn't all that good. The summer before was amazing. This is NOT typical!

The difference is that the heat will only last for days, if that. The miserable weather we've been having has gone on for MONTHS!! I would have more sympathy for the heat haters if it was going to go on and on with no end in sight. Plus the crack about warm shower being like Glasgow weather wasn't remotely funny, just annoying.

People are just as entitled to find it too hot as you are to find it too overcast (/ wet / miserable / whatever).

Dull, overcast and reading 18 degrees in the car. I'm in North Somerset. The blanket "hot weather alert" for the whole of England is a bit OTT in my opinion. Just have it for where it's actually warm.

I agree with you OP! Used to visit Glasgow regularly a few years back (beautiful city) and it was always in June … Weather was lovely, sunny and warm. It’s not always grim up there!

It's sunny and 24 degrees here! In fact I burned a little yesterday and was only out for a few minutes.

It has been sunny and very hot in East Lothian, now a bit overcast but still very warm. You can have some of this heat, its too much for me! Hope it heats up soon for you OP

There's some white clouds now, but here in Lancashire it was clear sun this morning, 22°C. I'm in shorts and a vest top as the house is quite warm - there was lots of sun over the weekend. The rest of the week is looking pretty good too.

Thank you! We are actually usually fairly lucky in the weather here, it is a myth that it is always grim and cold.

I agree with you OP. I'm in the South East and even though it's nice today, it was literally only 8 days ago I was sleeping with a hot water bottle. It's ridiculous. This is the worst June for years!
