Filthy food habit… and what’s yours?

Not talking Biscoff straight from the jar here… its so low-level I’m compelled to post (with NC) so to expose the guilt/be shamed out of it.

Maggi noodles eaten dry, from the packet, with the seasoning sprinkled into them. Preferably chow mein flavour. But eaten in bed. Last night the flavouring went on my sheets which may or may not have been a turning point.

What’s your secret filthy food habit?

Pasta with loads of butter and a big spoonful of marmite or bovril. Chuck in some cheese and maybe frozen peas if there are some available. Perfect hangover food.

Sure this was mentioned on Tizwas in the '70-early-80s by Lenny Henry, so definitely a thing!

Definitely straight from the foil...although if I crumble one into a recipe and there some on my hands...god I'm gross 🤢

Spoon of butter, tablespoon of golden syrup, piece of dark choc. Melt in the microwave for 1min. Add cereal-cornflakes or Rice Krispies ideally, but special k will do. Mix together and eat warm. Yum. I will never tell anyone that I have done this!

This will sound quite sane compared to some, but I like a digestive biscuit spread with cream cheese then jam. Its like an instant mini cheesecake.

I also love frazzles dipped in ice cold milk. And chocolate with garlic salt sprinkled on it.

Microwave rice with mayo over the top.

Wotsit sandwiches

Jacket potato, halved and served in milk with loads of salt and butter!

Childhood eats a table spoon of golden syrup out the tin.
Swigs of malt vinegar out the bottle.
Once made the mistake of too many table spoons of treacle out the tin.

But raw sausage and bacon I cannot get my head around!

This sounds genius! Salivating just reading about it!

Tinned macaroni cheese in a toasted sandwich, with extra grated cheese added. Must be one of those breville toasties with the sealed crunchy edges. Eat dipping in tom ketchup, but beware it can be volcanically hot.

Not mine but my DH's. Pasta mixed with butter, mushed up cooked fish fingers and tomato purée.

Wotsits dipped in yogurt sound delicious and I agree, stale wotsits are so much better!

Tinned ravioli or macaroni cheese, straight from the can.

Tuna sweetcorn mayo mix, straight up (ie. not on a jacket potato).

A warm croissant spread with honey and strawb jam and Marmite.

Anchovies (deli style not tinned) atop a pile of ready salted crisps.

I'm so trying the mini cheesecake idea...
