Filthy food habit… and what’s yours?

Not talking Biscoff straight from the jar here… its so low-level I’m compelled to post (with NC) so to expose the guilt/be shamed out of it.

Maggi noodles eaten dry, from the packet, with the seasoning sprinkled into them. Preferably chow mein flavour. But eaten in bed. Last night the flavouring went on my sheets which may or may not have been a turning point.

What’s your secret filthy food habit?

Never mind filthy food habits, I’m sure some posters are suffering from Pica judging how gross some of these are 😁

😂😂😂

Fishfingers dipped in Nutella

Same here. Have been munching on it for decades, and I am still here.

Me too … but in secret 🤫

Beef and Tomato Pot Noodle with a dash of soy sauce (never ketchup)

IWantToBeASleepingCat · 21/06/2024 22:25

Mashed potato ( Frozen kind but cooked/ microwaved) mixed with dry crispy onions .. spread on a buttered crust of a loaf of Warburtons

wineosaurus4 · 21/06/2024 22:26

I remember being able to buy pot mash - that you added hot water to - that had dried onions in. Bloody lush

Nothing wrong with eating them dry, few countries e.g Nepal eat them like this! :D

Oh my god how did you all come up with these concoctions? 😂Noodles in a sandwich I've done though... anything can be a sandwich

My very first boyfriend introduced me to a pie sandwich. Get a small steak and onion pie... mash it up and put it in a sarnie. Lush!

OXO cube, nibbled straight from the foil wrapper.

Toucanfusingforme · 21/06/2024 22:31

Chocolate biscuit with crunchy peanut butter spread on it so that there’s more peanut butter than there is biscuit. With a cuppa.

slipperypenguin · 21/06/2024 22:32

Garlic bread dipped in beef gravy 🤤

Grab a packet of McCoy's salt and vinegar crisps and a tub of Mackie's vanilla ice cream. Dip.

Mackies vanilla n crisps.mmmmm.

I love to nibble on an oxo cube.

And also, when I cook sausages I always bite the end off and eat it raw-it's like pate.

We should create a recipe book 😂

I like raw sausages too. If I buy any, about a third are eaten when standing in front of the fridge... raw.

I love raw mince too. I always have to buy too much for a recipe to account for my munching.

I buy steak, splash balsamic vinegar on it.. and eat it.

I have a stomach of steel. Had a meal where everyone had food poisoning except me on a few occasions.

Peanut butter and cream cheese pushed into ready salted hula hoops 🤤

tartancladpjs · 21/06/2024 21:37

@bossybloss is that not "dangerous"

Mine is tomato sauce sarnies, has to be white bread, no butter.

I totally get the dry noodles, I'm eyeing up a pot noddle now!

My husband loves sauce sandwiches, I have to tell him that does not constitute à healthy meal. He rotates different sauces.

I like a teaspoon of peanutbutter, as a lollipop.

Frozen peas straight out of the freezer. Yum

I do this, never thought of it as filthy though! Little peti pois peas are my favourite, love that as they defrost in my mouth the sweet flavour bursts out... delicious!

(Does not work with frozen sprouts, I find)

When I’m unwell, my comfort food is a packet of microwave rice, a few chunks of corned beef, and instant gravy mixed up in a bowl with plenty of black pepper. It’s filthy, but sometimes needs must.

Absolute filth. Honestly.

You win this competition 👏

Me too @Lemonchord !
Sometimes with a teaspoon of Aldi Nutella, as a very lazy sweet treat!

(Edited as autocorrect didn't recognise Aldi and substituted Also..... random!!)

Aaagh , no. Don't eat raw sausage. Pork needs to be cooked Trichinosis is a food-borne disease caused by a microscopic parasite called Trichinella. People can get this disease by eating raw or undercooked meat from animals infected with the parasite.

I recently had steak tartare, if you like raw mince you should try it

Some of you must be on drugs to eat that stuff 😂!@XenoBitch like the sound of a pie sandwich. My DF used to make us sausage roll butties when we were kids. Hot sausage roll in a buttered roll lovely! Thanks to PP who mentioned the VG shop that takes me back!

beachreader · 21/06/2024 22:42

@XenoBitch
Guts of steel here too 😂😂
Never tried raw mince.
