How often do you shave your armpits?

Just out of curiosity since I don't know if everyone does it as often as I do.

My underarm hair grows really quickly. I CBA to shave all the time tho. So maybe once a month.

Weekly? If I look at them and think "should probably shave"
Dodgy scar in one which means it's hard to shave it anyway as it's got a protruding bit

Maybe once every two months. Rarely wear sleeveless tops. Visiting friends this weekend who have a hot tub so have to do it in the morning 😔

Maybe once a week. It doesn't grow very fast, or thick, or long. I just do it in the shower when it occurs to me. I might stop to see how much I can grow!

I epilated them for years and the hair doesn't grow anymore so never.

Every day in summer, every 3 or 4 days in winter. Off topic but does anyone know how to get rid of armpit skin tags without paying to have it done for you?

Every 2/3 days. My hair seems to grow a bit quicker at the moment although I'm losing it on my head in clumps when I wash it 🤔

Funny you should say this. In my twenties and thirties I did it probably every other day because I hated the idea of ever having stubble there. It seemed to enrage it and this seemed to be necessary. However as I started to worry about more than just armpit stubble as I approached my forties I slowed this down. I think once I ended up going about a fortnight and weirdly I found it then didn’t become stubbly for the best part of a week . I think slowing the rate of shaving slows the rate of hair growth and also made it wispier. Now I’m probably twice a week in summer maybe once a week in winter. And it gets a better shave as the razor grips better when it is a bit longer.

Rarely, honestly.

If I’m going to an occasion, or poncing around on a spa day, say. Not for regular swimming at the council pool, or every day. I don’t really wear strappy or sleeveless tops out much, and at home the family is well used to my luscious hairy pits.

Gave up shaving years ago and now just wax once a month

Never. I stopped as a teen because I hoped to emulate the bold black hair all the French girls had in their pits. Sadly I don't grow anything much in the way of body hair so you can hardly see but I've never shaved again.

Never. Had laser several years ago, and epilated weekly or so before that! Get the occasional hair every few months that is plucked!

Otherwise would be shaving daily if sleeveless tops or dresses, including gym wear. Would be a nightmare!

5 or 6 sessions of laser was an amazing investment!

Lasers are out of my budget right now unfortunately but I'd love to get it done

Only when I am wearing something which will show my armpits clearly. I am not very hairy anywhere and my hair is light coloured.

How does underarm hair mean you can't wear those things?

Every week or so. My teenage daughter never shaves any of ber body hair, my teenage son trims his armpit hair.
