How often do you shave your armpits?

Just out of curiosity since I don't know if everyone does it as often as I do.

Maybe once every couple of months. My body hair grows super slowly - I shave my legs once a year. My chin hairs though, that’s a whole different ball game.

I use Fussy too. I find some of the fragrances worse than others for stinging after shaving - the Coconut Milk one is the best.

It depends on the season for me. During the summer, 2 or 3 times a week. In the winter, once a week and sometimes less. I used to do it more, but am fine with a bit of hair now if no one is seeing it.

Don't your armpits get irritated because of that?

It takes seconds although I only shave mine fortnightly or so.

Very rarely. I only really shave them if I am wearing something sleeveless at a place where I might feel self-conscious- work or at a special occasion etc. Then it pisses me off that I still haven't quite got over that.

Every couple of weeks or so. I last shaved them about 2 weeks ago, and the hairs are so fine and pale they are hardly visible. Post menopausal, no HRT.

My legs are the same - cant remember the last time I shaved them, and although they are hairy, I can't see the hairs, but can feel them if I rub my hand across them. I've never shaved my thighs, and they are completely hairless now. As are my inner calves for some reason.

I last shaved in May. The time before was probably September last year. It doesn’t bother me or stop me from wearing sleeveless tops or dresses. I have the rather unhealthy attitude of “while they’re slagging me off, they’re giving some poor beggar a rest!”

I’m post menopause and have very little body hair now. This thread has just reminded me that I’ve been wearing sleeveless dresses for the past week and haven’t shaved yet this year!

Anyway, no one sees them and I don't wear sleeveless shirts much either, but I shave my armpits often.

Hardly ever. I have very fine blonde hair and since starting the menopause it hardly grows now. Same for my nether regions, practically bald!!

Twice a year maybe? Literally don't grow any hair there.

I shave my armpits every morning, more out of habit as there often isn't much hair there. I swim twice a week and it's easier to just shave as a routine than think about whether it's a swimming day.

I bought a home IPL machine ages ago but I didn't have time to use it regularly - this thread has reminded me to get it out and try using it again!
