Twice in the last month have come across men pleasuring themselves in public.

one when I was walking the dog. And was facing the pond and having a go. And just now. Some man laying on the grass on the side of the road. Hand down his pants. Just laying their pleasuring him selves. What is it.

Teenage boys walked around with hands in their trousers when I was high school. And while sitting in class. I don’t remember anyone telling them to stop. I once joked to one sat with hands down his trousers about what he was up to and got told to fuck off/ mind own business, like it was reasonable of me to make him feel awkward about him masturbating a desk over from me in a history…

I work with teenage boys and regularly ask them to wash their hands before taking a drink, using a pen etc. "What? Why?" "because you keep touching your penis and testicles and it is very unhygienic" A lot genuinely don't seem to know they are doing it or think it is ok.

Part of the solution would be to ban the elasticated waistband. It's such an enabler.

It doesn't matter where you live, it can happen anytime, anywhere. If all the sex offenders were in one place, it would be much easier to manage them. Instead, they are neighbours, colleagues, random people in the supermarket, vans, parks, trains, they are police officers and people from every profession you can imagine. Report them every single time, there are multiple studies and case studies showing how this behaviour can escalate to much more serious crimes.
