Israel and Eurovision

I've seen all the protests that Israel shouldn't have been allowed to enter the Eurovision. I don't think politics should be part of eurovision

Has everyone forgotten that a lot of countries at this stage have invaded each other, and that a lot of countries have a bloody and violent past.

The United Kingdom invaded many countries and massacred and killed many many people in the past.

Germany have obviously started two world wars.

Spain have invaded countries and done a lot of brutality to people in the past.

Should none of these countries be allowed to enter eurovision then. If we are going to put politics into it, nearly every European country would be banned from eurovision.

Israel is far from the only country in the world that have invaded and massacred people. Its awful, but it has also been awful when other countries did it. And many of them have. So I'm not sure why there was just the call for Israel to be banned

You have claimed I said being pro-Palestinian is anti-Semitic and when I stated clearly many times that I don’t believe this, you said “I disagree” and refused to acknowledge my actual belief.

You also replied in a post where I said Nazi comparisons are anti-Semitic “Wow you are so wrong stating being pro-Palestinian is being anti-Semitic”.

Ive also had PA comments like “keep your signs to yourself” when I asked why your were twisting my words

I think you’ve become upset ( not being patronising) and that’s all most certainly down to what you’re going through at the moment.

I'm not posting for favours or your approval. I said up thread we probably won't see eye to eye and it appears that's still the case. I'm perfectly entitled to hold a view that doesn't align with yours, and that's how it's going to be. I make absolutely no apologies for that.

Yes we can have differing views - my problem with you is you STILL don’t accept MY view (which actually aligns with yours!!) despite the fact I have never stated the opposite to this vie….Why?

That's a fairly one-sided history you've plotted there.

As much to say that Israel's offers were fair and reasonable and the Palestinians should have just accepted.

That is not the case.

Wasn't it Ben Gurion himself who said if he was the Arab leader he would never accept. That Jews stole their land, and the holocaust was zero to do with them.

Didn't Arafat sign the Oslo accord with Rabin, and then Rabin was promptly assassinated by an Israeli.

Isn't it widely known that Netanyahu propped up Hamas as it destabilised Palestine ensuring a two-state solution would never happen.
