To be annoyed delivery guy peed in my garden!

Just seen a delivery guy peeing in my front garden (caught on ring doorbell) wasn't even my delivery and he was delivering food 🤢 clearly sees the doorbell but doesn't care! Someone said well there is a lack of toilets but surely that's not an excuse?!

Even female police?

I'm not actually sure what they do. Makes me appreciate them all a lot more

@MarioIa I was once stuck in traffic on the M25 from 8.30am to 2.30pm. I eyed up every bush in case I absolutely had to leap out of the car and go. The motorway was a giant car park and no one went anywhere for six hours. It was not a happy experience.

Peeing in someone’s from garden though, is deeply unpleasant and delivery drivers must stop off for breaks at some point, so no excuse.

This happened to me once too, but nowhere "acceptable" to get out and relieve yourself. I did reach breaking point and (very inelegantly) had to pee into a coffee cup. 😩

Berga · 30/04/2024 12:45

Is he just supposed to piss himself then?

SWould you have been OK with a female driver sqatting down in a corner of OPs hedge?

Oblomov24 · 30/04/2024 14:01

I'd rather someone weed in a bush.

millymoo1202 · 30/04/2024 14:01

That is vile!

SwingTheMonkey · 30/04/2024 14:03

Berga · 30/04/2024 13:53

To be honest I'd rather he hid behind a hedge and did it, than at the side of the road in full view. I might be a bit, oh yuck, if I saw someone pee in my garden and I'd probably go out and chuck some water over the area after he had gone, but I couldn't find it in myself to note down all the details of someone in a shit job, getting shit pay, and reporting them in the hope they got disciplined or sacked.

Yeah, we’re not on the same page here.

Delivering something to someone’s house and then popping in the neighbouring garden to expose your penis while you have a piss - with no regard to who can see you is beyond unacceptable. Presuming this person is collecting from food outlets… have a piss there.

This is an age old myth, usually about truck drivers. No adult man can fit his penis into the top of a bottle, I remember a drunk ex and his mate trying when we were young and stuck on the motorway in a van.

I always assumed it was parents letting their kids wee in bottles when caught short.

Edited

Oasis bottles, maybe? 😂

I'm an adult man and you don't need to fit the whole willy in...just be able to direct it into the bottle. I was a gardener and often had to wee in a bottle in the back of my van as often my customers were out or I was too muddy to risk trying to go in the house. I actually carried a fabric conditioner bottle as they have wide necks.

caringcarer · 30/04/2024 14:14

My son is a class 1 lorry driver and he goes before leaving home, stops in motorway service stations if he needs to and goes at destination. There is always somewhere they can go. He'd never see in someone's garden. That is disgusting. I'd complain.

BobbyBiscuits · 30/04/2024 14:16

That is grim. I know they have to go somewhere. But, They really should know of either public toilets in the local area, or use the ones in the food places they deliver from? Or at least into a shrubbery in the woods or something, not someone's garden with a camera!
It might be hard to know which company to complain to, as lots of those riders have bags etc from firms they don't work for, or work for several. Whichever one you pick, they'll probably deny it's their rider.

You expect human beings to pees in bottles?

Well aren't you a treat

I don't think human beings should have to pee in bottles. It's not the driver's fault if his employer is too greedy to factor toilet breaks into their shifts, however it's preferable to peeing in somebody's garden.

Winningatpatriachychicken · 30/04/2024 14:52

44PumpLane · 30/04/2024 13:01

Also there are literally products on the market to cater for being "caught short"!

The "kiddiewhizz" does an adult size version, pee in that and then use some antibac hand wipes within the van. Dump out the contents down a drain.

Or boots and Amazon sell bottles that are designed for those who are immobile or stuck in traffic for example that can be dumped out.

And those are the reusable, eco options, there are also gel filled bags that hold several wees as well as a host of other products I've not listed.

There is no need to go pee in someone's garden, it's absolutely grim, and I absolutely would report this to the company!

You're aware you're talking about a human being here yes?

MarioIa · 30/04/2024 13:08

It's like the people you see weeing next to the motorway. I always take a photo and report to the police as they could really just hold it in until the services instead.

I remember being stuck in traffic on the M5 and seeing a woman crouching between the front and back door with her head protruding above and a puddle forming around her. Grim. 🤢 She didn't look happy at my partner taking her photo (I was driving) but maybe it'll make her think next time.

Your partner photographed a woman pee-ing?

I'm sorry you seem to be in a relationship with a pervert

Winningatpatriachychicken · 30/04/2024 14:54

TheFairyCaravan · 30/04/2024 13:12

I had a Tesco delivery woman ask if she could use my toilet once. She was absolutely bursting and had asked the 4 people before me if she could use their toilet but they’d all said no. I find that really heartless.

I wouldn’t be best pleased of some random man pee’d in my garden, but I wouldn’t report them. I wouldn’t want them to lose their job over it.

Thank god, an actual human being on this thread

mynameisR · 30/04/2024 15:15

I work as a Community Nurse and quire rural so can be miles away from base. Would it be acceptable for me to whip my tights and knickers down and squat in somebodies garden?

Disclaimer - Yes I could ask to use a patients loo as the delivery driver could ask to use the customers loo.

Only he didn't ask to use the neighbours as my ring doorbell has audio he wasn't refused, he didn't ask!

Report to his employer and the police.

That's appalling

oui · 30/04/2024 15:24

The poor poor man being asked not to get his knob out and piss in a strangers garden..but but but he's a human being! 😱

newyearnewknees · 30/04/2024 15:26

I honestly would not care at all.

beebop33 · 30/04/2024 15:29

Having suffered with bowel and bladder issues myself, I'm usually very considerate of people needing to go where and when they must. Some people genuinely cannot hold it.

However in this case surely there was a public space that would have been more appropriate. An alley or a verge even would have been more private and less offensive than someone's actual garden!!!

DrJoanAllenby · 30/04/2024 15:30

Winningatpatriachychicken · 30/04/2024 12:32

Honestly I wouldn't care. Poor guy was probably bursting. And his employers won't have factored loo breaks into his targets. And he probably makes minimum wage.

Urine won't damage your lawn, don't make someone's life harder but reporting them, it won't make your life any better

He could have stopped off somewhere discreet not openly urinated in someone's front garden!

DrJoanAllenby · 30/04/2024 15:31

After handling his cold he would have them touched whatever next he's delivering. Gross.

I would report him for exposing himself and for urinating on my property.

DrJoanAllenby · 30/04/2024 15:33

Cock not cold ^

toomuchfaff · 30/04/2024 15:35

Berga · 30/04/2024 12:45

Is he just supposed to piss himself then?

no, he's expected to hold it and find a toilet like a normal person would. Pub, petrol station, cafe, library... loads of places to take a piss. It's not the outback...

What the hell is wrong with you, you absolute psycho?? Sadly, I don't believe in karma but I really hope you get yours.

Once when I was stuck in a traffic jam I saw a heavily pregnant woman in distress on the hard shoulder. She was visibly upset and clearly desperate for a pee.

For some inexplicable reason I didn't add to her humiliation by taking a photo and reporting her. I grabbed a spare coat and knocked on a few other car windows. Me and two other women created a loo cubicle for her.

People - especially women - don't pee next to moving traffic where total lunatics can photograph them unless they have no choice.
