Just seen a delivery guy peeing in my front garden (caught on ring doorbell) wasn't even my delivery and he was delivering food 🤢 clearly sees the doorbell but doesn't care! Someone said well there is a lack of toilets but surely that's not an excuse?!

I was going to be one of the annoying where's he meant to go people but in all fairness, we've all held it in until we got to a service station of shopping centre, why can't men do the same?!

This sounds more like jealousy than an actual critique, if I could get away with it I would aswell

Also did he pee on the food? Doubt it

As someone has stated, his hands would be contaminated by his urine and goodness knows what else then he would be delivering the next unsuspecting customer's food order!! You can't understand that?? The mind boggles .. 🙄😨

Disgusting but I do wonder, where do delivery people 'go'???

Maybe on gas stations or restaurants. At least this is what we do if we are out and there is nowhere to go except the places I mentioned.

WillimNot · 02/05/2024 06:47

I do sympathise with them but no, it's not OK to pee in your garden, he could've asked the customer he delivered to if he could use their loo. I had an Asda driver once I could tell was uncomfortable, asked if he was OK, he said he needed to find a loo once done with my delivery, new round so didn't know his comfort break stops yet. I said to use mine. He was very appreciative. Hardly going to rob you when they're literally acting on behalf of a company with their details.

It's actually a huge issue now and counts as indecent exposure according to a report on the BBC. Report to the company, it's totally unacceptable.

Lei8133 · 02/05/2024 07:41

I have some random questions to ask;

  1. Did he try to shield the act, once inside your garden or was he blatant?
  2. Would you consider peeing on the pavement/residential street more acceptable?
  3. Is the garden the issue or is peeing outside the concern?
Henrysotherwoman · 02/05/2024 08:17

Good job he only needed a wee... So many people on here think this is acceptable 😬

You expect human beings to pees in bottles?

Well aren't you a treat

Where I live, the streets are littered with discarded plastic bottles full of piss, presumably because the drivers have nowhere else to go, and no time in their schedule to visit a public wc. They're in an impossible situation, it would seem.

Not directly no, but he's handling his penis to pee - in a garden which doesn't also offer handwashing facilities - then handling food delivery bags & passing them on to customers.

He's your takeaway ... and whatever dick-rot the driver has ... bon appetit! 🤢

Ohhoho · 02/05/2024 09:51

There once were staffed public lavatories.. with attendants you tipped. How civilised.

Winningatpatriachychicken · 02/05/2024 09:54

People on this thread really don't understand how tightly targeted delivery drivers are - if he loses time diverting to a public loo he could miss his targets and face sanctions

Blame the system, not the human being

Winningatpatriachychicken · 02/05/2024 09:55

@Elfblossom

Oh shush now, we know perfectly well men don't wash in public bathrooms either!

How many times do people need to have this explained… if the guy was happy to urinate in someone’s garden - in full view of the door camera, he’d surely be quite happy and capable of peeing into a bottle or portable urinal in his vehicle.

No time lost. Peeing into a bottle takes no longer than peeing in someone’s garden. No requirement to divert to a public loo.

The excuses for someone using another persons property as a toilet are ridiculous.

DitzyDoughnutt · 02/05/2024 10:30

Winningatpatriachychicken · 30/04/2024 12:32

Honestly I wouldn't care. Poor guy was probably bursting. And his employers won't have factored loo breaks into his targets. And he probably makes minimum wage.

Urine won't damage your lawn, don't make someone's life harder but reporting them, it won't make your life any better

There are plenty of pubs or supermarkets he could have driven to or even asked the people h Ed was delivering to if he could use the loo . He could wee into a bottle in his cab too .

The sort of spiral building which housed the public toilets in Northampton were kept immaculate by the lady who looked after them. She even used to put flowers in jam jars

you haven't called the police yet so you're obv into him. well done for humblebragging about your piss kink the SAS couldn't beat such info outta me

Newuser75 · 02/05/2024 11:51

@Winningatpatriachychicken surely going in a bottle is better than in someone's garden?

Nightjar33 · 02/05/2024 12:25

I remember years ago we had two delivery men delivering to our house.
they asked if they could use the toilet as they had a long list of deliveries to make. My husband said yes of course.
they had asked at 3 previous deliveries only when a male answered the door as maybe a single female would be nervous and they were refused.
It’s something to think about 🤔

SnozPoz · 02/05/2024 13:32

Totally unacceptable and also an offence. Report to his delivery company and the police. Why is it that men think it's ok to piss anywhere they want? Women have to learn to hold it in

SillyOldBucket · 02/05/2024 15:32

Difficult one. My initial reaction was to think 'blooming cheek' and 'out of order' but then as the reasoning side of my brain started to kick in, I thought actually what do you do if you cant hold it in and there are no loos. He could have asked to use a loo I guess but then I wouldnt be happy about letting a stranger into the house either so having them pee in the garden would be preferable to that, although not idea, l so I would probably be a bit cheesed off but wouldnt take any action and then in the big scheme of things it would most likely eventually disappear from my mind anyway.

I wouldn't want my food touched by a dirty bar steward that touched his penis without washing his hands, filthy pig!

Gunkle1 · 02/05/2024 23:50

MarioIa · 30/04/2024 12:59

This is an age old myth, usually about truck drivers. No adult man can fit his penis into the top of a bottle, I remember a drunk ex and his mate trying when we were young and stuck on the motorway in a van.

I always assumed it was parents letting their kids wee in bottles when caught short.

Edited

Lots of bottles have wider necks that will fit, unless he is extremely girthy.

Bottles such as lucozade etc. Plus you don't need to fit it in, just get the tip positioned properly.

TraumaDora · 03/05/2024 09:32

@Gunkle1

Fabric softener bottles are often used to pee in as they have wide necks .

Why is the company’s timing mismanagement/loo breaks and the driver’s lack of preparation (petrol stations/public loos/bottles) making it okay for someone to piss on your lawn?

I do wonder if reactions would be different if it were a woman.

asdfgasdfg · 06/05/2024 17:37

Don't encourage peeing in bottles, drivers round here leave the bottles in the gutter or under hedges,

HRTQueen · 06/05/2024 17:47

A man peeing in someone’s front garden is fine accounting to some 🙄

if course it’s not fine firstly who could see him and secondly it’s just a complete lack of respect and what considered acceptable

I absolutely would report him I think there is something off with this behaviour it’s not normal

peteol stations have toilets I’ve often seen delivery drivers using them or a quiet alley if he can’t find a petrol station
