To be annoyed delivery guy peed in my garden!

Just seen a delivery guy peeing in my front garden (caught on ring doorbell) wasn't even my delivery and he was delivering food 🤢 clearly sees the doorbell but doesn't care! Someone said well there is a lack of toilets but surely that's not an excuse?!

To those saying it’s fine, is it also fine if a female delivery driver squats in someone’s garden to pee?
Ideally they’ll hold it (as women would have to do) until they get to a public toilet they can use. I appreciate delivery drivers are strapped for time and public toilets aren’t always easy to find, and also appreciate pee isn’t going to ruin someone’s garden, but it’s just really unpleasant to pee in a strangers garden.

I’ll add that I work as a carer and when I take my clients out I’m not able to leave them to use the toilet, I have to hold it until we’re back.

TwoLeftSocksWithHoles · 30/04/2024 13:07

On the plus side, it apparently deters foxes.🐺(this emoji showed as a fox and now its a cat!)
Perhaps cats are detered too, I don't know.

tongsatdawn · 30/04/2024 13:07

He wasn’t “a delivery man” he delivered nothing to your home and he wasn’t on your property as part of his work role.
A random man came into your garden and used it as a toilet - awful

MarioIa · 30/04/2024 13:08

It's like the people you see weeing next to the motorway. I always take a photo and report to the police as they could really just hold it in until the services instead.

I remember being stuck in traffic on the M5 and seeing a woman crouching between the front and back door with her head protruding above and a puddle forming around her. Grim. 🤢 She didn't look happy at my partner taking her photo (I was driving) but maybe it'll make her think next time.

You expect human beings to pees in bottles?

Well aren't you a treat

What do you think long distance lorry drivers do?

TheFairyCaravan · 30/04/2024 13:12

I had a Tesco delivery woman ask if she could use my toilet once. She was absolutely bursting and had asked the 4 people before me if she could use their toilet but they’d all said no. I find that really heartless.

I wouldn’t be best pleased of some random man pee’d in my garden, but I wouldn’t report them. I wouldn’t want them to lose their job over it.

They defo don't piss in bottles. They use services or the side of the road.

A grown knob wouldn't fit in a bottle and good luck trying to piss horizontally when sitting in a chair. It's an old wives tale.

You sound utterly vile. That poor woman might have had health problems and there’s you and your partner taking some superior stance over her having a pee on some tarmac. I just couldn’t imagine being so mean and petty.

Maybe you ought to think about invisible disabilities before taking pictures next time

No but he'll have held his nob without washing his hands afterwards, then he'll be holding someone else's food in the next delivery 😨

Well, he won't. He'll be holding the food packaging. Not exactly ideal, but not actually anywhere near the food.

I take it you haven't seen the bottles of wee in grass verges then....

Is he just supposed to piss himself then?

You'd be happy for some strange bloke to come and pee in your garden then?

Cheers, I’ll let my cousin and his mates know,

I’m sure the police are delighted by your diligence, as they certainly have nothing better to do and will definitely really care.

How incredibly creepy of you.

CrotchetyQuaver · 30/04/2024 13:25

I find this unacceptable too, you are not alone. I wonder if some of them get a kick out of doing it. Where I am there are public toilets still in the town/village centres so I just can't understand why they do this, there are places they can go without leaving it to the last minute.

EatCrow · 30/04/2024 13:27

To be fair though, do we know how hygienic anyone is? Someone, male or female, could use the public toilets and not bother with hand washing.

ConsistentlyInconsistant · 30/04/2024 13:27

Also did he pee on the food? Doubt it

But he's delivering food, holding his cock and has nowhere to wash his hands. Its also illegal. I would report him.
I had a job driving during the pandemic when everywhere was shut, guess what I held it in until I passed a supermarket like an adult with bladder control. I presume he wasn't 3 years old Hmm

Disgusting but I do wonder, where do delivery people 'go'???

A few have told me they go at places like McDonald's and KFC when picking up

That's gross op, no excuse for it
