You must remember what Amalek has done to you, says our Holy Bible," he said on October 28. Netanyahu continued: "We remember, and we are fighting … our soldiers are part of a legacy of Jewish warriors that goes back 3,000 years."

"Bring down buildings!! Bomb without distinction!! Stop with this impotence. You have ability. There is worldwide legitimacy! Flatten Gaza. Without mercy! This time, there is no room for mercy!," wished Revital Gottlieb, a member of the Israeli Knesset.

"If all of Gaza are refugees, then let's scatter them in the world. There are 2.5m people there, each country would take in 20K people, 100 countries, it is humane, it is required," suggested Ram Ben Barak, member of the Israeli Knesset.

"Those are animals, they have no right to exist. I am not debating they way it will happen, but they need to be exterminated," argued Yoav Kisch, Israeli Minister of Education.

It was the Palestinian government that started this with the mass genocide of innocent Israeli civilians and babies. They are at least equally culpable in this. Goodness only knows what those poor hostages are going through, it really doesn’t bear thinking about.

What? I'm talking about the colonial violence inflicted on Palestinians in the West Bank that has been going for decades. Do you really not know?

Shja · 02/05/2024 18:49

Israel has killed at least 22,438 Palestinians — mostly children and women — and wounded 57,614 in its brutal war on the blockaded enclave so far. Some 7,000 Palestinians are feared buried under the rubble of the annihilated buildings. More than half of Gaza's infrastructure is destroyed or severely damaged. Israeli indiscriminate bombardment has uprooted some 90 percent of Gaza's 2.3 million people.

Shja · 02/05/2024 18:50

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu described Gaza as “the city of evil” on October 7, and then on December 24, framed Israel's attack as a fight against “monsters”. “This is a battle, not only of Israel against these barbarians, it is a battle of civilisation against barbarism,” he said.

Shja · 02/05/2024 18:52

‘TEL AVIV, Israel (AP) — Fighting “human animals.” Making Gaza a “slaughterhouse.” “Erasing the Gaza Strip from the face of the earth.”
Such inflammatory rhetoric is a key component of South Africa’s case accusing Israel of genocide at the U.N. world court, a charge that Israel denies. South Africa says the language — in comments by Israeli leaders, soldiers and entertainers about Palestinians in Gaza since Hamas’ Oct. 7 attack sparked war — is proof of Israel’s intent to commit genocide.
Israeli leaders have downplayed the comments, and some in Israel say they’re a result of the trauma from Hamas’ attack.
Rights groups and activists say they’re an inevitable byproduct of Israel’s decades-old, open-ended rule over the Palestinians and that they’ve intensified during the war. They say such language has been left unchecked, inciting violence and dehumanizing Palestinians.’

But it’s still as true today as when it was first said that if the Palestinians lay down their arms there will be peace, if Israel does the same there will be no Israel. The issue with your position is that Hamas, who are supported by the majority of Palestinians, don’t want peace without the destruction of Israel, and that Hamas not only doesn’t care about civilian casualties, they are part of the plan and the the infrastructure has been deliberately built to maximise them. The more dead babies the better to fuel the propaganda war.

According to the FT, Hamas do not have majority support in Gaza as down from 38% pre 7 October to 34% in March per @PSR Palestine polling.

"They [Hamas] should have restricted themselves to military targets," one Gazan tells the FT.

From article

“Polls in November by the Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research showed Hamas’s popularity in Gaza and the occupied West Bank had increased from three months earlier. In Gaza, support increased from 38 per cent to 43 per cent and in the West Bank from 12 per cent to 44 per cent. But by March that support had dipped again because of the ferocity of Israel’s retaliation and the scale of destruction and loss of life in Gaza, according to a survey by the same research group.

Khalil Shikaki, director of the centre, said that support for Hamas fell by almost a quarter to 34 per cent, according to a poll taken during the first week of March. The movement also lost popularity in the West Bank, where support fell from 44 per cent to 35 per cent.

“There is no doubt support for Hamas is declining in Gaza because more and more people feel it has some responsibility for the pain they are enduring,” said Shikaki.

Israel’s Gaza offensive has killed more than 34,000 Palestinians, according to local health authorities. The vast majority of the population have been displaced, sometimes many times over. Entire families have been killed and swaths of the strip have been reduced to uninhabitable wastelands.
Starvation and disease stalk the territory as Israeli restrictions severely limit the entry of humanitarian supplies, according to UN agencies. The World Food Programme warned this week that Gaza could officially enter famine within six weeks.”

Would like to discuss more but still not well enough.

Not for a second, no. I want the innocent people of Gaza to be free of Israeli terror, then free of that awful regime. Perfectly possible to hold both positions.

Agree

So much through the decades to suggest Israeli state do not wish Palestinians to share the land covering 1947 partition plan either through 2 states or one jointly governed state. Sorry too ill to to discuss further.

You might want to ask to move this to the conflict in the middle East board?

Why? It’s about a news story relating to Germany, not the Middle East. The title is clear, if you have no interest in the subject don’t click on it.

‘We are Na’amod, a movement of British Jews seeking to end our community’s support for the occupation, and to mobilise it in the struggle for freedom, equality and justice for all Palestinians and Israelis. We are inclusive and welcoming of all Jews who want to oppose the occupation and adhere to our values. Na’amod does not take a common position on Zionism, BDS or borders. We focus on what unites us: our conviction that the occupation is a moral crisis and our determination to end British Jewish support for it. Our values of anti-racism and anti-occupation are deeply entwined – see below for more’

It’s racism to think that Muslims are the same and all Jews are the same. We are all not one homogenous group just because we share a religion. We are against oppression - fairness and justice for all.

So is using "white privilege" racism or are all white people indeed the same?

Should you be trying to debate on an online forum when you have basic reading comprehension issues?

Should you be here if you have difficulty explaining yourself? Hypocrite much?
