Mines coffee. The whole coffee culture made me feel very bland for just wanting a cuppa when out with friends but in my 30's I finally realised it just wasn't for me.

Crab here too
Meat - all of it
Plain green tea. Can stomach the flavoured but is that it doing the goodness
Bananas I force down like medicine

Borborygmus · 25/04/2024 18:55

If I don't like something I wouldn't eat/drink it again. I know straight away, I don't have to finally admit it to myself.

Hotbaked · 25/04/2024 18:56

Spinach, I've tried it all the way you can possibly try it but I've finally decided that no, I don't like it, it's an awful texture both raw and cooked and I want to avoid eating it as much as possible. Similarly with gnocchi. I even tried this in Italy hoping it might be better, but no.

Agree with gnocchi and tea
Also whitebait or other small fish

JanglingJack · 25/04/2024 18:56

Fresh pan seared tuna. I want to like it, it looks lovely on tele... I don't like it, it's tastes of fishy blood.

Mussels. Nope. I have tried since I've been a grown up. Still no.

Tofu.

PeloMom · 25/04/2024 18:59

Alcohol, wine. Curry- blah, can’t stand any of them

SocksOnTheSaucepan · 25/04/2024 19:00

Green tea.
Smoked salmon.
Bananas unless they’re a bit overripe.
Raw tomatoes.

TheMuskratOfDestiny · 25/04/2024 19:00

Not quite the same but as soon as I realised goats cheese tastes the same as goats smell I went right off it.

FloatyBoaty · 25/04/2024 19:01

Sun dried tomatoes

Baked beans (persevered because I thought it was childish to protest if they were on my plate, given their ubiquity. But no. I fucking hate them)

Goats cheese (although went off that after a food poisoning incident)

red wine- which I actually DO love. It’s sadly gone off me though

CountFucula · 25/04/2024 19:02

glazed or crème filled donuts 🤮

FortunateSass · 25/04/2024 19:02

Green Tea! And coriander (not together obvs) I've tried so hard but can't stand the stuff 🤢

MavisPennies · 25/04/2024 19:03

Porridge. I want to like it, but it's so slimy.

Neurodiversitydoctor · 25/04/2024 19:03

I am seriously struggling here, the only thing I really don't like is sweet warm milky things like rice pudding or creme caramel and custard see also Baileys and trifle no better for having alcohol in them. I have never pretended to like things like that why would you ?

Mrsjayy · 25/04/2024 19:06

Fish and sea food I just can't stand it anymore although I don't mind tuna mayo!

WaterDroplet · 25/04/2024 19:11

So many other green tea people. I still make myself drink 3 cups for the health benefits but the taste, the tanic scum, urgh!

KittyCollar · 25/04/2024 19:13

Smoked salmon. Would love to like it but it’s too fishy

Mummadeze · 25/04/2024 19:16

Bubble tea. Tried four times and can’t change my mind. They look so nice though!

AlmostCutMyHairToday · 25/04/2024 19:16

I see Gnocchi is mentioned a lot. I thought I hated it too, until I ate some good gnocchi and wow, nothing like those stodgy chewy blobs. It was light and pillow soft. I've tried making my own but never come close.

Nubnut · 25/04/2024 19:16

Another butternut squash! Bleurgh

PeterGabrielsunderpants · 25/04/2024 19:17

Any kind of shop-bought pizza. Absolutely vile, stodgy pap

Nubnut · 25/04/2024 19:18

Oh god yes tofu.

to the green tea haters - I would venture it’s the stuff in the teabags that is nasty. If you try a higher quality loose tea and make sure you brew it for the time it says and at the right temperature, I think the problems will go.

Good one

LindorDoubleChoc · 25/04/2024 19:19

Raw tomatoes. God I wish I loved them as they upgrade so many meals and sandwiches with all their goodness, but I just can't.

Cucumber I gave up on years and years ago.

I'm hopeless with a Greek salad.

dancingqueen345 · 25/04/2024 19:20

Also, Halloumi fries.

LindorDoubleChoc · 25/04/2024 19:20

And tofu (as pp have said).
