All grooming gangs are horrendous and should receive the same punishment regardless of race. But I'm yet to hear of a gang of white men raping hundreds of black girls over a period of years while police looked the other way.

I was explaining that the power differential existed in Rotherham, too. That’s why the girls weren’t believed. Same in all the other cases. Vulnerable girls, often leading lives that misogynist men and judgemental women believe to make them in some way ‘deserving’ of their treatment, were ignored and minimised.

Every culture has their own ways of painting women as whores, and some of the worst will use that as a justification to do them harm. It’s exacerbated when the women are poor, uneducated, use drugs, don’t have people to look out for them.

Asian men are arrested for all sorts of crimes on a daily basis, in my area for example they are represented more than white men in Traffic offenses.
Why would the Police not want to investigate these grroming gangs in case they are accused of racism but happily investigate them for any other crime?

The over representation of POC in our criminal justice system clearly shows that the police are very happy to investigate / CPS to prosecute crimes perpetrated by POC.
