Cruella's boot boys out on the street again protecting our British freedoms in their usual brutish fashion with violent disorder. She must feel very proud.

For some reason an image of an undercooked boiled ham just popped into my mind.

Sigh. How immature and embarrassing for you.

goodluckwiththat · 03/05/2024 16:18

Aw, babes. You’re not very good at reading tone, either, are you?

Why go there with the insults though?

Sofiabella · 03/05/2024 16:41

Hoppinggreen · 03/05/2024 16:38

With regards to The Police supposedly covering up these crimes due to not wanting to be accused of Racism are you saying that The Police don't arrest Asian men?
The woman who actually uncovered the Rotherham sex trafficking said the lack of Police action was down to attitudes around poor white working class girls rather than fear of arresting Asian men.
I condem these men absolutely and I do think that the misogyny in their cultures contributed BUT I abhor the attitude that Asian men are somehow more dangerous than white ones.

The subsequent investigation found that fear of being called racist played a part in why this was allowed to go on for so long. This thread shows exactly why.

i don’t see calling someone a racist as an insult. I see it as a description.

That isn’t the same thing as there being a racial motivation to the crime. I know you might not understand the difference, but it’s there.

goodluckwiththat · 03/05/2024 16:50

Why did Jimmy Saville’s crimes go on for so long? Or Epstein’s?

The common denominator here is that every one of these vile creatures was exploiting and abusing vulnerable girls and women society doesn’t give a fuck about.

But there was a racial motivation to the crime? They raped white girls because they see them as worthless, they didn't rape within their own community.
You're really proving the exception to the rule with the whole lefties having high IQs hey? 🙂
And Epstein and Saville got away with it for so long due to money and power. Obviously.

Why is it that racists don't like to be described as racists?
I find this every odd.

You’re definitely not an exception.

All that shows is that that group of men believed those girls to be worthless. It doesn’t reflect a wider view of white girls by Pakistani men.

Andrew Tate espouses the same fucked up misogyny with the same resultant exploitation of vulnerable women.

You say Saville & Epstein got away with it because of power & money. Sure, money and fame was a big part of it, but also at the heart is power - they hold huge power. Same as the men in Rotherham compared to the troubled young girls they exploited.

Now, what about the Camborne grooming gang? Walsall & Wolverhampton?

The home office’s own report concluded that most CSE gangs are white.

So again, your fixation on one horrific group of rapists over another is…telling.

Probably because lazy posters use it when they’re running out of evidence and ability to debate

I literally said power. So why are you telling me that it was power like it's some revelation? What on earth 😭

White people will be proven to be the majority in pretty much all crimes in the UK because they're the majority population. You have to look at proportionality.

All grooming gangs are horrendous and should receive the same punishment regardless of race. But I'm yet to hear of a gang of white men raping hundreds of black girls over a period of years while police looked the other way.

EasternStandard · 03/05/2024 17:11

Women shouldn’t prioritise men in these discussions.

There have been some posts earlier that prompted reaction.

I’m fine with talking about cultural realities, if it’s not the case people can rebut without attack

Yes, I know you did. That’s why I wrote,

“You say Saville & Epstein got away with it because of power & money.”

I was explaining that the power differential existed in Rotherham, too. That’s why the girls weren’t believed. Same in all the other cases. Vulnerable girls, often leading lives that misogynist men and judgemental women believe to make them in some way ‘deserving’ of their treatment, were ignored and minimised.

Every culture has their own ways of painting women as whores, and some of the worst will use that as a justification to do them harm. It’s exacerbated when the women are poor, uneducated, use drugs, don’t have people to look out for them.

It is not unique to the Pakistani diaspora or Muslims in general. If you think it is, I refer you to my earlier description.

Are you really saying that the Police dont prosecute or arrest Asian men in case they are seen as Racist?
Asian men are arrested for all sorts of crimes on a daily basis, in my area for example they are represented more than white men in Traffic offenses.
Why would the Police not want to investigate these grroming gangs in case they are accused of racism but happily investigate them for any other crime?
The Police ignore grooming due to their attitudes to the victims not the colour of the perpetrators

Look into the case, there are heaps of reports online explaining that the police deliberately looked the way due to fear of being labelled racist.

Yes the power difference existed. As well as the police willingness to turn a blind eye.

Plenty of experts don’t buy the ‘we didn’t want to be called racist’ narrative. Police ‘turned a blind eye’ or failed to push for prosecution because the victims were girls who weren’t ’believable’ in our fucked up system.

The over representation of POC in our criminal justice system clearly shows that the police are very happy to investigate / CPS to prosecute crimes perpetrated by POC.

Unless you believe this is because POC commit more crimes? As someone who definitely isn’t a racist, I’m sure that isn’t your belief.

It definitely was a factor, I'm sure plenty of experts don't want to buy it because it's unpalatable but unfortunately it's the truth. Why are you putting "turn a blind eye" in quotation marks? You really are a walking example of why this was allowed to happen, it's so disturbing to see in action.
You REALLY need to look into and apply proportionality.

Hoppinggreen · 03/05/2024 19:40

I ask again
WHY would The Police be worried about being racist if arresting Asian men for grooming girls but not for any other crimes?
The Police were accused of Racism after shooting an Asian man near me who was carrying a gun and was on his way to kill a rival drug dealer but they continue to investigate and arrest Asian drug dealers
Makes no sense at all

Read the inquiry and find out? You're acting like I've made this up, I've shown
you proof and you're still questioning me.
I understand you don't want to believe it, it's definitely a hard pill to swallow.

TooBigForMyBoots · 03/05/2024 19:52

How did the police's fear of being called racist manifest in other crimes? Did they stop arresting brown and black car thieves, muggers, burglars etc?

Edited

I am not questioning you I am wondering out loud.
What is this pill I am expected to swallow exactly? You seem to suggest that Asian men are more likely to commit sex crimes, I dont believe that and there is no evidence either.
Do Asian men abuse women? Absolutely
Is it because they are Asian? No
