To want DH to stop sending me photos of things that displease him?

So - interests of fairness he is a decent man generally but he has this one habit that really puts my nose out of joint.

Say I have done something minor but I appreciate annoying he sends me a photo on WhatsApp, like a top left off a bottle or if the cat has killed a mouse (he hates cats) or similar. He just sends a photo, no accompanying message. I absolutely hate it, I think it’s really passive aggressive and I never know how or if to respond.

AIBU if I tell him to stop it?

Or find a place that will screen print photos on tshirts and get a half dozen made, each in his size and each with a different photo he sent. Then give him said shirts for his birthday, Father's Day, Christmas, Valentine's Day

Save the worst half dozen and have them printed on a set of six mugs, with a rude symbol on the reverse. Box them up and present them to him for his birthday. Tell him they're for his new flat when he moves out.

I reckon she has a collection of photos by now with his sour face she can send to him, but if not, now's a good time to start snapping him with his face of thunder.

I would be like you. I'd do more and more stuff to agitate the passive-aggressive azzhat and then, for the coup de grâce, go into the silverware drawer and put the spoons in with the knives. (Thank you Will Trent!)

P.S. Will Trent is a TV police drama here in the USA. The main character is dyslexic and OCD and endearing as heck.

I would be tempted to send stupid pictures back to him. Socks and men's stuff left any where snap it, shed/garage not cleared out snap it. If he leaves the toilet seat up snap it.

I think I would take the same approach of forcing him to use words but just woulndt acknowledge the message in any way. Perhaps I'd even delete them out of spite. "What photo, dear?"
